Great location, quiet hotel, disappointed in cleaning staff...our room wasn’t always cleaned properly (seemed like the staff were rushed so just quickly made the bed and left).
Good location right in the middle of the west side of Big Island; easily accessible to both north or south end of the island. We were able to drive around to all the places we wanted to go easily with no problem. Our room was clean and upkept well. We never ate on sight so I have no opinion about ...
Extended our stay from a business meeting and do glad we did. Plenty to choose from! Lounge by pool or beach with excellent service or swim in kings pond.... a must do!!
The beds were very comfortable and unit stocked well. Everything from beach towels to all necessary dishes, pot and pans.
Nice hotel close to the beach and walks to town. Can swim at the beach if careful for urchins. Very much recommended!
Perfect in every way. We had a top floor unit that was wonderfully stocked. Immaculately clean and taken care of. We felt at home only better.
This place would be difficult without a car but was quiet and very fine for us. I managed to stop up the kitchen garbage disposal and the repair was done in 15 minutes!!! There are lots of restaurants within a mile if you do not want to cook. The concierge give good snorkel and luau tips. The staff ...
Only talked to one person from castle resorts and that was on the phone to give them my credit card number, and get our room number. Thats all the contact we had with castle resorts.
Very nice place to stay. Room was a bit dated but in good condition, clean and quiet. Great location. Nice pool. Staff was very friendly. Smokers will be a little inconvenienced as this is a non smoking property but they do have a small shack near the road that a smoker can smoke in. I wasn't keen ...
Secluded feeling yet easy access to the city below. The Sanctuary is a great place to retreat among a variety of flora and fauna. Communal kitchen is well stocked with necessary items and the lodges are very comfortable. The geckos make great company while just hanging out. Great for couples or just ...
My husband and I stayed at their Plumeria suite which was nothing but magical. It gave the Hawaii feel as the entire room had wooden walls, Hawaiian handicraft and artwork and stone floors but had all the amenities that one will needs for the stay. They were as thoughtful as to leave make up removal ...
Excellent location with ocean view and close to many beaches. Check-in is at 3pm and not a moment earlier. There is fine print on a cleaning fee and a destination fee, so be aware of that. Air conditioning is also an extra cost. 1st night of our stay it rained very hard causing our roof to leak (first ...
My only complaint is the unit we had could use a cleaning crew. Glasstop stove dirty, food in the cracks between the stove and counter. Also cooking utensils, pot and pans mix and matched.
Promised me a water view ... did not have one available. 51 parking spots for 140 rooms ... people are nice ... apparently the owner of mine does not care how it's advertised .... shower door didn't close ... pocket door they used a dry wall screws to make a stopper ... you get the idea ... but if ...
We have stayed at a number of places in Kona. This property has been recently refurbished and is clean, nicely landscaped and has excellent amenities. The lanai had a lovely view of the sunset, the pool was very nice and the unit had everything we could want. Best of all the property is walking distance ...
