Good value for the money.

This hotel is showing its age, but is still a good value for the money. My only real criticism is that the room is too dark for reading. There is no overhead lighting. Other than that, it was entirely satisfactory.

A good stay if you don't have any neighbors.

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Newer hotel with fresh décor and nice amenities (breakfast room, small pool for kids, small exercise room). Our first night was very good, with a comfortable, quiet experience. The next night was awful. The room next door got populated with four boys ranging from preteen to early teen and a TV that got left on all night. I know this not because they were obnoxiously loud, but because the walls seem to conduct sound rather than blocking it. Location is a little odd, on an access road just off the end of the runway of the regional airport. They apparently don't fly at night and I only noticed two takeoffs before 8:00 a.m., so unlike the room next door the planes weren't a noise problem for us. There is a trampoline facility across the street if you want to send your kids out to break their wrists but not much else in walking distance. On the other hand, runners can wind their way through Millham Park and onto the extended Portage Creek Trail with relative ease. While I don't have specific alternative recommendations, if noise is a potential issue for you there are other options nearby that I'd check out before this one.

Rooms disgusting

Posted Nov 3, 2016
Came to Kalamazoo to visit our new granddaughter. Picked this hotel for the location and a king suite because we thought we might be in the room more than we would on vacations. Rooms were disgusting. There was Food in the refrigerator from prior guests, beer caps on bathroom floor and it was obvious the carpet hadn't been vacuumed recently. Morning breakfasts were just ok.

Okay hotel

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Close to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo and I-94.
Toilet sounded like a bull horn when it flushed and leaked all over the bathroom floor. Hair dryer did not work. Alarm clock did not work. Internet was horribly slow.

Checked in late and had to call first thing for set of towels. Front desk customer service was very good and friendly.

It's a price appropriate place to sleep in Kalamazoo. Older hotel but was very clean.
