small room, great beds

Posted Jan 17, 2016
Pros: The beds and hotel staff. The beds are the best Ive ever slept in. The staff was very attentive and seemed eager to make your stay comfortable.
Cons: Providing some sort of sound barrier between the halls and the private rooms. You could hear too much while in the hallway coming from private rooms.
Location: Easy access from I-94. A few good restaraunts nearby and plenty of places that deliver. I was going to the Expo center which only took 15min to get to
The over all room was nice and cleanand smelled nice but was a little tight on space. No fridge or microwave. No breakfast included but there is a breakfast buffet for $9 per adult and $5 for kids. When walking down the hall you can hear people sneezing, talking, tvs but in the room its pretty quiet. The WIFI was fast but certain on line sites (Craigslist) would block you while using the hotels server. The staff from the front desk to the servers and chef were exceptional. The highlight of our stay however were the beds. They were AMAZING! I think they were memory foam. Soft but still firm with white fluffy breathable comforters and four large fluffy pillows. I will stay there again just for the beds! One more thing, they only provided one bottle of complimentary water in a room with two queen beds. I didnt ask for more but it seemed odd that only one was left for a room that obviously would have more then one person staying in it.

Business Trip

Posted Dec 16, 2015
Pros: I was only here overnight so I didn't take advantage of any of the amenities.
Cons: Nothing noted
Location: Business
This was a business trip overnight. I found the hotel was fine and had no concerns during my stay.

The friendly hotel staff was the only positive of this hotel. The room was dirty and in need of upkeep and repair. With the exception of the lobby the hotel was in need of an overhaul. Not worth the money.

Nice weekend experience for the whole family.

Posted Oct 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel rooms were pristine and comfortable.
Cons: The on and off ramps to I 94 were closed, under construction. It was difficult to get to the Hotel. The Hotel sign was not amplified at night.
Location: There are many great venus in the Kalamazoo area. We went to the Air Zoo, Gilmore Car Museum, Bells Brewery, Food Dance, Milham Park and Gull Meadows
Staff was friendly and accommodating !!! We had 4 rooms for three generations of family. The staff and facilities met our every need. The kids enjoyed the pool and the morning brunch each day. Large screen TVs in common areas and bar were great for sports.
