Good facility, low price draws rowdy crowds

Posted Feb 26, 2017
I loved staying at the Red Roof Inn! The room was excellent and the service was some of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the low price drew several late night party-ers and the connecting rooms have no sound proofing. I was woken at 3am by loud music and laughter and had to move rooms. Luckily the staff was extremely accommodating. And even put the disturbers in a do not rent to list. However I do not recommend this hotel for families with babies or children. It would have been a nightmare in that case.

Clean, but very small

Posted Jan 28, 2017
Pros: Location, clean
Cons: better bedding
We stayed for one night in a ground-floor room with a King sized bed. For the money, the room was clean with a nice TV, sufficient bathroom counter space, a luggage stand, a nice sized dresser. The water closet portion of the bathroom was incredibly small - the door barely clears the toilet. I've never stayed in a hotel with non-carpeted floors - this one as faux wood floors. Be sure to bring your slippers. Linens were thin and duvet was stained. Wall unit heater was loud and fairly close to the bed causing sometimes barely warm air blowing directly on the person sleeping that side of the bed. Lots of cold air coming in at the door, could use some better seals. Bathroom fan was loud as well. Overall, a good room for the price. Good location near the highway and WMU campus. Plenty of shopping, food, gas nearby. Very easy to find.

Eh

Pros: Internet.
Cons: The bedding.
Everything about the bed was horrible. The motel was pretty nice for how much you paid. Pictures are a bit misleading.

Good lodging for a budget hotel

Posted Dec 10, 2016
Overall the stay was fine. You cannot beat it for the price. We stayed in a king deluxe (or superior - don't remember exact title) room. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were hard as a rock. We stayed two nights. Housekeeping came into the room and left extra towels after the first night, but did not make the bed or clean the bathroom. Upon arrival I needed to ask for extra toilet paper as the roll was almost empty and there was not a spare. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again if needed lodging and did not want to pay a lot for a room.

Everything was great, except the smell of smoke

Posted Dec 1, 2016 on Hotels
The people at the front desk were great, the room amenities were more than adequate, but the thing that ruined it all was the INTENSE smell of smoke. It was like being in an ash tray. If this hadn't been the case I would've rated my stay 5 stars. Red Roof Inn, if you are listening, YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THIS, I ordered a non-smoking room, therefore I expect NOT to step into an ashtray.
