Change of Owner.

Posted Oct 21, 2017
Pros: Friendly office staff, but they also struggle with English. Cleaners were nice and friendly.
Cons: Improve breakfast. Provide drink accoutrements. Get rid of the cats.
Location: Located right in the centre of the old town which is wonderful. However, the hotel is situated right on a junction of 3 roads so traffic noise.
Apparently, there has been a recent change and not for the good. Unable to retain staff, this came from the locals, not a good sign. Breakfast on the 2 weeks we were there was the same sliced meat, same selection of 4 cheeses lots of olivies, salad. Fresh fruit was only apples and plumbs. No Mellon, no orange, no peach. On 2 days there was no butter. On 2 other days there was no cereal. There were never enough cereal bowls, one milk jug for cereal and coffee. Hence queues. Another day the boiled eggs ran out. No omlette no sausage. Very very poor. Coffee like water. The hotel manager just sat there and smoked in the dining area. Stray cats visit. There needs to be a sign. "Do not feed the cats" and they will go elsewhere. Simples!

Koleici hotel.

Posted Oct 17, 2017
This hotel is well situated. Far enough away frim the noise at night but close enough to get anywhere however it is very tired and in need of some updating. The staff were quite helpful with everything. The breakfast was ok. Eggs etc were quite cold but plenty cold food available. Pool area was quite nice.

Great location but hotel itself could be improved

Posted Sep 17, 2017
Great location, everything is within walking distance. However breakfast is terrible. The food isn't replenished, usually served cold as well as being served the previous nights dinner left over is such as cold, rubbery fries. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. The decor is nice and is what you would expect from a boutique hotel. Overall the breakfast let's the hotel down.

Nice Hotel right in the middle of the old town

Posted Sep 14, 2017
Pros: It was a nice old style traditional hotel with a small sun terrace and swimming pool for people who didn't want to use the beach.
Location: There are plenty of restaurants & bars with prices and food to suit everyone within walking distance. A Turkish Bathes at the bottom of the road
The Mediterra Art Hotel was right in the middle of the old town area with restaurants & bars of all types to suit all tastes all around. There was only a small privately owned beach in the old town area which cost 15 Turkish Lire per person a day use. The beach area was looked after and maintained by the restaurant above who served food on the beach which meant you could remain on the beach all day. We would not have any issues with staying at the Mediterra Art Hotel again.

Nice hotel lovely staff

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful whenever we needed anything. Only downside is the hotel room was tiny even though we got a double room. We did ask to upgrade but there was no availabilities or rooms. Nevertheless, the staff made us so welcome that it made our trip!

Nice hotel. Nice city

Posted Jul 31, 2017
We arrived at the hotel at 9pm by Taxi and good driver, the hotel is well known to them. Hotel staff very helpful and speak good English. Very quick check inn procedure. After one hour we went out for dinner and the location is amazing good restaurants and the city full of life. Supermarkets open 24hr .The next day we made a trip to the water falls after a good breakfast in the hotel. I would love to come again and all the family enjoyed this holiday. .

charming and special

it was a nice place to stay at the middle of old town. convenient location and charming setting of the old building. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Good value for a modest luxury... some rooms can get laud those facing street if you bothered by jazzy sounds of the local restaurant across the street.

Its okay but we wouldn't go there again.

Nice hotel, very over priced with meal and drinks. So we literally walked a street away and got meal for half the price. Very few breakfeast options. (Eggs, fries, salami, bread, cheese and melon) The room was nice, the place is getting old, awesome air conditioner. Only problem we had in our room was the toilet. We had to get service twice for that but the they fixed it very quickly. Pool is very cold. The area is very calm around the hotel not that much sound at night.

Mediterra is the worst hotel I've stayed in since I signed up and became a customer of hotels.com The hotel is advertised as a 4* yet upon having experienced their hospitality, I wouldn't even rate it as a 1* one as to me the stars represent the comfort and professional, which in this case was none - zero. The pool was filthy enough for one to avoid glancing at it, let alone to get in; which wouldn't have been possible anyway, as it was shut down. Then checking in, I was astonished by the way they had left the bathroom, with someone urinating in it and not bothering to flash. Later on I went to the restaurant area after calling them a multiple times they approached with an attitude and kept staring at myself and I with some sort of envy. Even though we managed to get the orders through after a "decent" wait, they started turning the lights off one by one eventually leaving us to enjoy our night in near - complete darkness. Only afterwards I had a revelation that the potential reason for their beahivour was that the dress I was wearing had a slight décolleté, which is obviously forbidden. On our second was my son's birthday and we wanted to sit on the pool area and they told me you can't be served as a costumer, because of we got our own "valuable" costumers and hotel visitors couldn't be served in outside pool area. My son's birthday was ruined and because of their negative impact his phone get lost and I was looking for other hotels in 3 am at that morning.
