Don't reserve this hotel!

I was very upset when I booked a 2 queen bed non smoking room for 3 people on hotels.com, but when I got there, they only had 1 room left with one king bed and it was a SMOKING room too! I spent A LOT of money on this room! more than I normally would spend on any hotel, but it was late and there were no other rooms in any hotels available anywhere in town. I asked how they expected us to sleep in one bed with 3 people. they said they were sorry but it was all they had left and they said hotels.com does that all the time... if ANYTHING is available, they reserve it and they have even had customers come in with hotels.com reservations when there were no rooms left at all! I have booked rooms on hotels.com for years now and have NEVER had a problem, even when I've booked really late or a half hour before I show up at the hotel on a busy night. I'm pretty sure it was Hilton Garden Inn not caring about hotels.com customers. They claim it happens all the time! I was extremely upset, but felt I had no choice but to take the room because I had a long drive the next day and was very tired and I had already pre-paid for it! They did end up putting a roll away bed in the room for me, which they did not offer until I asked. I was with my brother and his girlfriend and did not want us to all sleep in the same bed together, because that's just weird. They were not very nice at all to me during check in and seemed like they did not care at all about anything I had to say.

It is one of my favorite hotels, always dependable service, comfort and restaurant next door (Blue Canyon) one of the best.

Ok stay, but beds not that great.

The beds were not very comfortable. Supposedly adjustable, but very VERY firm when we got to the room - despite setting them to soft, we had 1/2 of one bed that actually did get softer - some time later. Other than that, room was fine. No free breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn, which I have become accustomed to at other similarly-priced chains.

We enjoyed our stay in the area, so many sites to see. And the weather was great. The hotel was at time frustrating. Enjoyed the fact that they had a place to do a load of laundry, but no was at front desk to make change for quarters and I waited for 5 minutes. No one came out. The beds were to soft and would down sloped to middle. And I had to ask everyday for 4 towels for our room and they would only give us 3.
