As such, we operate as a hotel alternative option.The smell you experienced in the room was due to the smoke caused by the surrounding fires in Kamloops. Hi Amanda, Thank you for your comment. We are an alternative hotel accommodation option. As a result, we might not offer all the room amenities a normal hotel would. We do keep extra towels, a few kettles and disposable coffee cups at the front desk upon request. We appreciate you choosing us for your stay and we'd be happy to welcome you once again.

Hello Arsh, Our front desk staff is required to do building rounds to ensure everything is working properly and that guests are safe. We try to do these rounds during hours in which there is less traffic. We apologize that our front desk wasn't present to re-set the keys to your room.

Regarding the absence of kitchen basics in the room, this Summer we actually started implementing the rental (extra fee) of our Kitchen Kits. We have very limited numbers, so they're rented on a first come first serve basis. Hopefully, if you visit Kamloops in a near future, we would be more than happy to have you again and if you do, please don't hesitate to ask us about the kits at front desk :).
