The entrance to the hotel parking had a roof on it which did not allow for a car with kayak or a truck pulling a u-haul. The front desk girl was not friendly or helpful. Told me to drive around but did not indicate that I would be required to pull into a small alley way to get into the parking lot. (missed it and had to pull a U-turn with a u-haul trailer) The parking was additional :(, The front desk girl refused to help me dispose of our take out garbage from a local restaurant. The breakfast room was too small and we had to sit down the hall from the Continental breakfast. The luggage trolley was sitting at the front desk full and when I inquired about a luggage trolley she said I would have to wait, instead of removing the luggage that was sitting there from before breakfast and allowing us to use it to load our stuff.

Thank you for staying with the Thompson Hotel, we appreciate your business. I do apologize as it looks like you did not enjoy your stay. We pride ourselves on our great customer service, and clearly this was not executed. Our back parking lot is the only lot for over sized vehicles, I understand that the agent could have been more specific. Parking is and additional fee but we do have rooms that include this. I will be looking into this situation, and we do apologize.
