A great location on the edge of the big city of Kamapala. There was lots of shopping at the mall across from the hotel, and the room was comfortable, quiet, and clean.
This has very good reviews and is a good hotel. The only thing is that my taxi driver couldn't find it, even with me printing off a map! Tell them it is near the American Embassy - should help!
After booking this hotel accommodation through Expedia, no email address was available for the hotel to contact them directly for any personal queries. Expedia contacted them directly and supplied their possible email but it never worked when tried. Also, at the hotel they allocated us a basic room ...
Nice shower pressure and decent buffet breakfast. Also, nice pool (even a separate kids' pool) and supervised playground for kids to play on. The room advertised on Expedia was not what I got (no microwave or kitchenette), so I had to upgrade as I was traveling with kids. Also, hotel refused to refund ...
Growing up in Uganda, everyone I knew wanted to stay at the Sheraton. Downstairs at the reception, waiting to go to my room, I was excited. At last: the Sheraton was mine. While I waited, the staff fussed over me. I sat at the lobby coffee house. Impressive as usual. Then I went to my room. First ...
The staff were attentive and friendly for my short stay. The location was perfect in downtown Kampala. The breakfast was good and standard and the rooms large and comfortable. I didn't notice much noise from outside and the bathroom water was hot and the water pressure was great.
Comfortable bed, staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Internet is in lobby/bar only, but is decent and there are many comfortable chairs spread throughout. I'm a repeat customer, and will be again.
We came here from a stay at the Serena Golf Course Hotel at Entebbe. It's a more convenient location but was not as good (food, staff, facilities) as the Serena (although cheaper).
This hotel was perfect in every sense of the word, except for the Internet service, which was pretty much non-existent for the majority of my stay. If it weren't for that, my experience would've have been very positive. Hopefully, they'll resolve it the next time I'm there.
I have booked this hotel for my younger sister .. They really enjoyed the stay .. The hotel is fabulous and their facilities too .. The hotel staff were nice and friendly .. I will recommend to whoever is visiting Kampala please book the Dolphin Suites they are Fabulous. !!!!...
enjoyed the meal and proximity however being close to the market means the traffic never stops
Excellent hotel, very helpful and professional staff, good food and bar facilities, except for the coffee which was awful. Very clean and comfortable rooms in good condition, great bathroom. No serious complaints just a couple of observations, the hot water took an age to arrive we timed five minutes ...
These apartments were perfect. Nice size accommodation. Clean, with pleasant staff. Location was ideal. Accessible pool. Kitchenette had everything needed. Safe and secure.
The most pleasing aspect of this hotel is the Asian restaurant - it is superb with a wide range of Indian and Chineese dishes. Staff are also extremley pleasant and efficinet, while the rooms are sufficinetly comfortable. The one big drawback for this hotel is the internet - it is terrible. So, business ...
