Fantastique location, brilliant staff, very clean! There was a small issue with my room but the staff were so good and quick to sort it. The bar and breakfast are good. It was a shame the rooftop balcony was shut.

Excellent location and very helpful staff. The only downside is the shower drain design. which causes shower water to spill over to the rest of the bathroom

Right place, Right Space
Checked in and was pleasantly surprised at how cute my room was. It’s the mini-room so it’s small, but I’m small and don’t need a lot of space. I called down to get an extra blanket and they brought me a heater too. And, breakfast is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Location, cleanliness, the staff at reception were the most friendly and helpful that I have ever come across, each and every one of them. Breakfast is exceptional, best I’ve had by far and best accomodation I’ve had by far.

Great hotel in a great location
Love the hotel. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location walkable to food and shopping. There’s also a train stop right outside the front door. I requested a quiet room and got it. My only complaint is the cleaning of the bathroom. That needs management attention.

Wonderful
Rooms: I had 3 during my stay: I started with a faily basic room, either the Mystical or Passion, they look similar. It was really nice, well laid out, and well designed. The next room was one floor up. I'm not sure what it's designation was, but it had more amenities (coffeemaker, desk, etc.). The bathroom was smaller and a little less convenient than the first room. It had a huge, new looking tv, that unfortunately wasn't programmed right. Being late on a Sunday, there was no one onsite that could fix it, so they apologized and offered another room. So... The 3rd room was the Sky Balcony. It was beatiful, well designed, blissfully quiet, and even came with a guitar. Really wonderful. There are 3 stairs to go down between the sleeping area and the bathroom. Showers were excellent. New, clean, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast and meeting areas were really well done, with interesting design and use of space. Breakfast included plenty of Gluten Free options for celiacs. Location was very convenient, and easy walk to the train station even with heavy luggage. Staff were really professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. Only one confusion: At the breakfast buffet, I asked if it was included with the room. They said yes, but I see now on the webiste that breakfast is an addition 25 Euro. I haven't seen my CC statement yet, so I'm not sure which is correct.

Klaus K was a great stay! We were in the sky balcony room which was very nice. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a great location - walkable to nearly everything.

Covid has been tough on Helsinki hotels and Klaus K is still recovering. The rooms are showing age, the showers need a clean and many of the staff are still learning on the job. I’ve been coming to the Klaus K almost every year since 2007 so I’ve watched it fade and lose appeal. I get the impression it’s now under new management - I just hope the new owner has deep pockets so this wonderful hotel can be restored to its former glory.

Fabulous staff. Impeccable rooms. Great location
What can I say? It was the absolute perfect stay. I was visiting during Helsinki pride March weekend. The city was hot and busy. I felt none of that inside the Klaus K. The staff provided exceptional hospitality. Please stay in one of the sky studios with terrace if possible. The air conditioner was amazing. The view was perfect. And easy access to the terrace bar made it even more fun. The room was absolutely fabulous. This is the only hotel I will be staying in when visiting Helsinki.

Well located hotel in city centre
All is clean, good and friendly - service was minimal as rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you request it due to Covid restrictions. Good breakfast. Quiet location in a side street, but very very central for all the main city areas and within walking distance of most sights.
