Peaceful setting not far from the Death Railway

Posted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: Peaceful seeting with a good pool you could swim in.
Cons: Speed of check-in.
Location: Kanchanaburi (and the war cemetary, museum and Bridge over the River Kwae/Kwai) are less than a thirty minute drive away.
The setting (by a golf course) is away from pretty much everything. Our chalet was well appointed and overlooked the lake, which was well away from the golf course and the main building so was very quiet. The pool was a good size and not very busy. Golf carts are used to take you around if you don;t want the short walks between the car park/main building and the chalet. The restaurant is open sided, but fully roofed, so you can eat breakfast in the fresh air every morning. Breakfast consisted of a couple of asian dishes, fruit, cereals, toast, eggs/sausage served buffet style. Internet worked well in the Chalet. The only thing that let the place down was the time it took to check-in. There was only one person in front of us, who was dealt with within about five minutes, but it was still well over half an hour from arrival to getting into the chalet. Obviously, you only check-in once, so it wasn't a major problem. Check-out, on the other hand, was over in seconds!

Very Remote Location but Beautiful Surroundings

Posted Oct 20, 2014 on Hotels
The location was a little far out of the way and difficult to find but the surroundings made up for it. I stayed during low season so the price was great and I was one of only two groups of guests so I had the place mostly to myself. Great pool area and friendly staff!

Pros: L'accueil

Golf Getaway!

Posted Sep 6, 2012
Pros: Large rooms and very quite
Cons: hard to find
Location: way out in the boonies. Great views from golf course though!
this is way off the beaten path. Small breakfast but good food. This is a GOLF resort. A nice one at that with great mountain views on all sides.

good environment for golf lover.

good service , however it is quite far from town as it's the golf resort. The amenities just as coffee & tea set didn't provided in the deluxe room as mentioned.
