Amazing place nestled in a quiet neighborhood

Posted Sep 14, 2017
Location: Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Its near the main highway, near a beach, and is next to a cove that outlets to the ocean.
Everything about this place was amazing. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Our original plan was to stay 2 days. As soon as we checked in, we realized we should stay longer. The only room left the third night was the suite. But the price was so reasonable, that we went ahead and added the third night. The first room we stayed in had an amazing view of the mountains and overlooked the pool and cove. It was perfectly sized. Its got all the amenities in case you want to cook food. The suite was even nicer, with plenty of room for 4 people. In fact the pricing was so good, that if 4 people stayed, it would be cheaper than any other hotel. During the stay we used the pool several times. It was lovely to swim in. We rented a kayak which was awesome. We also did their Monday night dinner (They offer dinner on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). The food was amazing, and the entertainment was fantastic. Honestly, theres not much more to say other than it was superb. I wouldnt stay anywhere else when I return, which is likely since we have family staying on the island for the next few years.

Awesome resort! Great location in Oahu!

Posted Sep 13, 2017
The main attraction in Oahu is being around Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. For us, we were coming from Big Island and Maui, enjoying the great island atmosphere, the trees, the birds, the not-being-crowded feeling, and then we got to Honolulu for our last couple of days and it was like back from vacation, a very crowded place, 5-lane highways, big buildings, traffic, concrete... But!! When we started driving towards Kaneohe, everything started to feel great again... and even better, when we got to this resort, not only well located, but the ambiance, the location, the people, the amenities... It was awesome!!

Beautiful tropical location!

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Location: We used this resort as the launching point to go to Kauloa Ranch and the North Shore.
From the first contact at the front desk with Crystal and Moe, to the wonderful breakfast it is a great place to stay. Additionally, the free Kayaks were great to paddle out to the sandbar in the middle of the bay about 1 mile off shore. Would want to stay here again!

Peaceful oasis away from the Honolulu crowds

Posted Sep 2, 2017
Pros: It's so peaceful and so close to nature. The onsite activities are also a huge bonus.
Cons: Parking stalls near the front desk are a little tricky to get in and out of.
Location: Snorkeling, Byodo-In Temple, Kualoa Ranch tours and zipline
I'm convinced this is the absolute best place I could have chosen to stay. It's on the less crowded windward side of the island with all of its beautiful trees and mountains and shoreline. It's also smaller, so you actually get used to a few familiar faces at breakfast and around the resort. We really enjoyed having activities we could sign up for through the resort like the delicious Friday evening buffet with live music and the Saturday morning snorkel boat and sand bar excursion. We didn't take advantage of the stand-up paddleboard lessons or the free kayak use, but those are real plusses, too. It's all very peaceful and laid back. If you're looking to be close to shopping, fine dining, clubs, and crowds, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a peaceful get away with the best that Oahu's nature has to offer, give this place a try. The whole island is fairly small, so anything else you'd want to do is a relatively short drive away.

Relaxing paradise

Posted Sep 1, 2017
I have had the privilege of traveling all over the world and this trip all I wanted was relaxation. Paradise bay resort is like not other hotel I have stayed at. The area is so quiet and relaxing and rustic compared to the busy touristy area of Waikiki. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores near by and every room has a stove top and there are grill available. The hotel also offers dinners during the week which most of the time have some kind of show with them. I attended the Monday buffet and the food and stay were beyond amazing and the music and hula dancing were perfect end to the night. I also highly recommend taking one of the boat tours the hotel offers. The crew was extremely knowledgeable of the area they took us to and also the different sea life we saw. They provide everything you need to snorkel plus the Wednesday boat offers free mai tais!!!!! If you are wanting to visit Hawaii and not be completely surrounded by tourist and tons of other people and enjoy the peaceful side of Hawaii I recommend this hotel.

Exceptional!

Posted Aug 7, 2017
I did a lot of research before my daughter and myself went to Hawaii. I did see some adverse reviews for this resort. I can testify firsthand that this hotel is well kept, updated and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, the room was perfectly sized with beautiful views and had everything that we could expect. It even had a beautiful welcoming packet with the variety of macadamian nuts. We were welcomed by Tom when we checked in and enjoyed yoga and kayaking with Jackie. Even the housekeeping staff (Ooie(?)) was super friendly and pleasant. There were 8 cats that are an adorable feature to this hotel. Do not worry if you don't like felines because they will not bother you. We had to beg for their affections and shower them in treats before we were able to make contact with our furry friends. I will only stay at this resort in the future when I visit Oahu. Thank you to everyone at Paradise Bay Resort for making our stay excellent!

At first I thought I was at the wrong place.

Posted Jul 30, 2017
Quiet and secluded resort tucked away down a residential road. I was confused at first and thought I was in the wrong place. Room was good, the view was amazing. They offer a nice little continental breakfast and also had a dinner option (for a fee) that I didn't partake in. The dining area has great views of the mountains and the bay. I was only there for one night so I didn't use any of the other amenities. I would definitely stay here again.
