Pros: Location
Cons: Hallways needed vacuuming.
Location: Close to expressway but not too close.
Room was ready and clean. Parking was quite good. Check in was good.

The room was updated but still smelled badly like old smoke. The bed was very comfortable! There are railroad tracks very close by so you can hear the trains as they come through.

Pros: It had all the conveinces that a high priced hotel has, refrig, micro wave, hair dryer,WIFI,cloths iron and ironing board, a laundry, At a low price
Cons: The TV volume was so low that I had to move the chair right in front of the TV to hear it. The TV volume needs to be improved.
Location: Location was very good. easy to find.
I enjoyed my stay at Supper 8 Gilman II, Clerk was very nice, fast check in, explained where to park and best way into the building , Quiet, clean, freindly,. I was very satisfied, and will stay there again when I need to be in the area.

Serves its purpose

Stayed here for a night to rest before going down to champaign for a graduation and unlike what the websites showed, the rooms were more modern and updated with good mattress. The trains do go by often during the night but hopefully you are tired enough to sleep through that. This is the best 2 star place we have ever stayed at

VERY NOISY! TRAINS!

It is hard to rate this motel for a few reasons. We arrived later in the evening. First opinion when we walked into the room was that it was very nice, looked like it had just been remodeled. Everything was color coordinated and very relaxing color scheme. We were impressed, except for the bleach/carpet deodorizer smell. I am highly sensitive to both of those smells. When we went to bed, the trains started. It seemed like they went by every 10 minutes. VERY NOISY! Three hours after we went to sleep, both my husband and I were coughing, stuffed up, and miserable. We decided we couldn't stay there because it was affecting our health, so we left at 2am. So, other than it looking very nice, we were very disappointed.

Pros: Location was handy for me.
Cons: My room was recently renovated...new accommodations throughout.
Location: Great location. Was visiting friends so, was not looking for things to do in the area.
Very nice...newly renovated. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

2 night stay

Stayed here to attend a funeral. We were surprised at how nice and large the standard king room was. Hotel is being remodeled at the time we were there. Breakfast was just ok. Only complaint we had were the small pillows.Since they were so small we could have used a few more for King bed. We would stay here again.

Football game stop off.

We stayed in at this hotel on our way to/from the Wisconsin Illinois football game. We had done this 2 years before and the hotel was top shelf then and still is now. Friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you. We had an in room hot tub with a king bed all for a very affordable rate. Very relaxing. We would stay there again any time we're traveling in the vicinity on I57.

This lack a lot of common sense. Who ever cleaned our room left the window wide open with the curtain wide open and this was on the first floor.
