Great location - great price!Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast.
Location: Very convenient for shopping and restaurants.
This is a little older hotel. So it wasn't as updated as some. But it was very clean. It would be great if you were staying for a few days or traveling with children. It has a small kitchen and a sofa. There was an outdoor pool that was closed at this time of year. But again would be great with kids.

Pros, good location and reasonable price for the space you get. Cons, the pool is tiny and the facility and the rooms are just run down. In our 2 room suite the pull out was broken and the entry door was hard to get bolt locked and the loft space didn't cool well. Their breakfast space is too small for the size of the facility and they could use some protein options. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful but overall I was just disappointed.

Staff was rude but nice roomPosted Aug 2, 2015
We checked in about 11 pm after a long day of driving. I told the woman at the front desk I had a reservation and she rudely snaps "uhm no you don't! Let me ask you a question.. did you book KANSAS CITY or OVERLAND PARK? I showed her my itenirary and it said Overland Park. She scurries away for awhile and comes back with my reservation and all she can say was "oh it didn't print." Never got an apology. Got to the room and it was very nice and updated. The next morning we went down for breakfast and all the staff was horrible. They couldn't get food out at the same time and talk about the guests under their breath. Horrible service but a nice roomy hotel. The staff at Kansas City was much better but the room was better here.

Clean, quiet and spaciousPosted Jul 26, 2015
The rooms are clean, spacious and very quiet. The pool is nice for kids to play. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was nice, and they kept it refilled promptly. We did not try the free happy hour, but I'm sure it was just as nice. We were very happy with our stay and plan to stay there again.

Traveling with friendsPosted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The rooms are very clean and offer all of the normal amenities. It is great to have a separate living and sleeping area.
Cons: The stairs to our unit were very irregular and need fixing. Poorly fitting blinds in my room let in too much light. Room darkening curtains are needed
A friend and I visited the KC metro area recently for a reunion. We were able to get 2 king suites with a living and dining room that was more like a condo. This cost less than a single room would cost at other hotels in the area. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They offered coffee all day, an adequate breakfast, and a happy hour. This is a great value and a place I plan to stay on future visits.
