Not what we were expecting

Posted Jan 4, 2016
The woman who checked us in had poor customer relation skills and could use some training. She assigned us to a room that was already occupied and then acted put out when we came back downstairs and told her we needed a different room. Then when we mentioned the next day that our room wasn't made up while we were out, she informed us we must have had the do not disturb on the door. When I told her that I am certain we did not, she said, "You must have." and walked away. Right... Awesome! The beds were comfy though!

Not close to speedway

Posted Dec 20, 2015
This hotel is not anywhere close to the speedway like they claim to be. We walked in to checkin and there was a sign on the counter that said the desk clerk would be back in 5 minutes. Once she got back, she was very rude and didn't even say hello...I had to start the conversation. Very poor customer service!! The bedside tables were falling off the walls. Our door handle was loose like someone had tried to break into the room. The outside door that you should have to use a key to get in wouldn't even close. I'll never stay here again.

Nice stay. Power went out to part of town as I came in. Lady manning the desk at 11pm (I think Jasmin) was very polite, professional and polite as she dealt with a late guest (me) while the power was out. Hotel itself was very well done, clean, quiet and very easy to get to. Wished we could get in and out from the side doors, with our cards at least, but overall, very nice.

Chairs had gum on them, toilet didn't flush, no trash bags, bed was very squeaky, the a/c unit did not work, tv was from the 70's and the cable was not connected.

Nice hotel. Very close to Kansas Speedway

Posted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Clean with pleasant staff
Location: Just went to Kansas City for the race. Race track is very close , not sure of other venues because I was busy at the track.
Nicer than many Days Inns I've stayed at. Close to Kansas Speedway

Bonner Springs visit

No hairdryer or ironing board in the room. Tiles in the bathroom in front of the toilet were badly cracked. They lent me a hairdryer at the desk.

Great Location

Pros: The room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant.
Cons: Unfortunately, the free breakfast was limited. I was only here for one night, but the pool also didn't look inviting.
Location: This is about 20 minutes from the ballparks and close to the Speedway. Plus there are restaurants and a Walmart for quick access items.
I am new to Kansas City area. So I was looking for an expensive spot near everything. This is about 20 minutes from the ballparks and close to the Speedway. Plus there are restaurants and a Walmart for quick access items. The room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the free breakfast was limited. I was only here for one night, but the pool also didn't look inviting.
