Exercise room poorly equipped. Doors are sticky. Breakfast cantaloupe not ripe and the only fruit available

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed 2 nights the rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable for us. It was nice and quiet when we stayed.

Good breakfast which helps offset the high cost of the room. We liked all the outlets for phones etc too.

Cabelas, Restaurants, Soccer Stadium, Speedway

We were there for our sons baseball tournament, while there was also a Hockey and Soccer event going on as well. The staff did a great job of putting blocks of rooms with the corresponding teams/sports. Super clean, very nice staff, ample breakfast, and close to lots of restaurants after the games.

Room type was not as promised. We were promised two queens with a walk in shower, and it had a tub. No hot water, supposedly the boiler was broken. Room was not only dirty, but deeply stained. Yechhh!

1st room had no heat second room we didn’t get hot water in the morning. No one was cleaning the tables during breakfasy

There was no hot water in the morning. The breakfast area was dirty and food tasted as if it sat out over night. The fire alarm in our room had a plastic bag over it. No towels in the pool area.

Shows signs of aging and/or neglect

I've been going to Hampton Inns all over the country for many years. I've noticed that over this time they have increased prices while the quality has declined. This hotel was like all the rest. The bathroom sink drain couldn't be kept closed, the coffee was below acceptable, the pastries were like lead weights, the oatmeal soggy, the cut fruit hard and flavorless. I do like the pool, kept unusually warm, and the rooms are comfortable, the staff polite. With more attention to details and the quality of the breakfast (important to me when traveling with children or in a hurry), it might be returned to what made the Hampton Inns worthy of imitation by so many others.

in a handicapped room, we're not handicapped

We were put in a handicapped room, and we are not handicapped. Would like the staff to ask if that is ok... I would expect that they would save that room just in case. Prefer to stay in standard rooms.
