Great trip to KC

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Indoor pool would be great, but that is not the layout.
Location: About a thousand restaurants within shuttle distance. Worked the rest of the time.
The staff is what makes this such a great hotel. The Hyatt Place is actually one of about three such hotels a short distance from each other. Easy to confuse them since they are pretty much identical inside. What made this hotel great was the staff. I was part of a group that was spilt between various medium priced hotels in the area and was more than pleased with every person on the staff. I try not to be a problem customer since I was part of a family who had hospitality in its blood. But, I am hard to please after seeing so many nice hotels. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay. Free breakfast, and I was surprised people flock to the bar area after hours. They have a great shuttle bus, so I did not need a cab or Uber. Thank you ladies for such a great stay!

From start to finish, the stay was as friendly, comfortable, and easy as it has been for the last 6 years. The former General Manager, Ryan Baldwin, would be proud.

On a trip to be there for family at KU medical center. At first disappointed b/c i couldn't get anything closer, but ended up be happy to drive the extra couple minutes as the hotel was so comfortable to stay in. People were nice, room was clean/spacious, enjoyed fitness center, and finally many nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

A bit disappointing this go-round

I stay at this hotel 3-4 times a year. This time I noticed that the rooms are starting to look stale and old. There was a bit of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. There was no table by the couch as there usually was to put your drink etc. I was disappointed but will probably come back because of the convenience and proximity to my daughter's home.
