Ensure your room is not connected if you stay here

Posted Dec 28, 2015
Pros: The check-in as well as the breakfast.
Cons: Don't include separate rooms that are attached. The light from the attached room was shining into my room..could also hear their alarm clock.
Location: Location is fine, close to 435 and a number of eating establishments.
I was actually excited about the opportunity to return to this hotel after a prior stay, which turned out really well. This stay was different, mainly due to the neighbor’s hotel room being attached to mine. I will say the check-in was fantastic; the individual seemed quite enthusiastic and more than willing to assist in getting me to my room. The check-out wasn’t as good; the individual was different, and she didn’t even ask me how my stay went. The main issue I had with the hotel dealt with the attached room. I could actually see the light shining in from the neighbor’s room on the left. Additionally, the neighbor’s alarm clock went off at 6:30am and I could hear it. I did call the front desk at 6:43, as it was still going off, and fortunately the front desk knocked on their door at 6:49 and the individual shut off their alarm…there should be sound deadening materials installed if you’re going to have an attached room. The tub for the shower didn’t drain either, so I was taking a shower as the water filled the tub. The complimentary breakfast is nice for the price…no meat aside from the gravy for biscuits and gravy, but considering the cost, it was very good (included Belgian waffles, fruit, yogurt, mini muffins and juices). How can breakfast close at 9am though? I think it needs to stay open until 10, given checkout isn’t until noon. Positives: Cost, breakfast and location. Negatives: Breakfast closes at 9am, attached hotel room, dated décor and shower.

Pros: They accepted my dog
Cons: no
Location: It was hard for me to find but I thought it was in a different place.
The room was clean but you can tell it's dated. The staff was great. My room was close to the door so it worked for my dog.

Convenient location

Posted Nov 27, 2015
The hotel was in a great location for our needs. The room was large and clean. Our issue was that the walls were very thin. We had the fan running and still could hear people talking next door. The beds were not very comfortable either. Probably would not stay here again.

Older property, needs updating. Good location.

Bathtub had rust spots and when running the shower, the faucet let a lot of water through. This put a lot of water in the bottom of the tub and made it extra slippery. Bed had big soft spot in the center. Breakfast was okay and staff was nice and helpful.

Excellent place to stay

I love this hotel! We have stayed there many times and always enjoy it. It's quiet, very clean and comfortable, easily accessible to our vehicle, and they also welcome my dog, who travels with me.

Pros: Close to Kansas Speedway.
Cons: All beds being made!
Location: We were there mainly for the race. However, Oak Park Mall is very close and one of the nicest malls I've ever seen! Good restaurants close too.
I had a room with a queen bed and a roll-away. The roll-away was not made up so when my friend went to go the sleep we had to call for sheets and a blanket and some pillows. They brought a bottom sheet and one blanket - no top sheet and no pillows. And then they expected us to make the bed! He made the bed and my friend had to call for another blanket. I gave her two of my pillows and I slept with one.
