The room felt as if it had not been cleaned the entirety of the pandemic. There were cobwebs everywhere, such as on the phone, on the chair, the space between the lights and the wall, the bathroom, and more. Additionally, the floors were black in the bathroom. Like quite literally, my feet turned black and when I ran the shower, the dirt from the floor starting coming up. There was also hair left in various spaces (bathroom floor, next to toilet, and on the desk). The room, when the air conditioner was on, turned into an extremely moist atmosphere that was filled with a mildew aroma. The staff member seemed very short of temper to deal with me, asking several times if I was "done" so I would get out of the office. I was fully masked and kind, but it was clear they didn't want any interaction. I know that this is a motel, and low budget, but it's deeply upsetting and unnerving to be in an uncleaned room. Not to mention the paper thin walls/shared bedroom door that allowed me to hear the man next to me do every single thing from coughing, video gaming, and talking, and the apparent drug deal that happened outside of my window. So, I would absolutely not recommend this motel to anyone who cares about cleanliness, sanitation, and overall just a general feeling of customer service/appreciation.
