Newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath single level home across from horse ranch, minutes to winery, brewery, dining, shopping, sporting venues (Maverick’s ice hockey, Royal’s baseball, Chiefs football,) walking/biking trails, 10 minutes to historic Truman Square and 20 minutes to Kansas City downtown.

No shoes are to be worn on carpet . A bench is by the front door for convenience and a shoe tray for wet or soiled shoes.

There is so much to enjoy in the KC area... search with your favorite browser to see all there is but here are a few favorites...

Cute and quiet
We stayed there for a weekend and really enjoyed it. Communication with the property owners was easy and they got back to me with any questions right away. It’s in a nice quiet kinda private area! The inside has been updated and really cute with that country home feel! We would recommend!

Family Visit
The property was as described and perfect for our visit. We really like the location of the property. It's out away from the city but still very close. The process of checking in and out went smooth. Overall the property was a good fit for the three of us and will be at the top of our list for our next KC visit.

Everything You Need
Our stay was very enjoyable. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Independence area. Close to lots of retail, but far enough out to enjoy the scenery, the peace and quiet, and take a beautiful walk. We would definitely return to stay if in the Independence area again. Highly recommended.

Newbies to VROB
did not get the note for the code to the side door until the morning we were leaving. So we had to use the icy sidewalk, front step, and porch also icy. Paid the cleaning deposit, walked around inside and found couple of trash pieces in the kitchen and some food bits in the front bathroom. Bed in bedroom next to master bedroom the bed from is very loose, no bag in trash can in this room. No instructions for the electric fire place. Big clock in the entry not set to correct time. Mostly very nice house and area.

Great quiet place
3 of us stayed at Kerrys pace for about a month while we were working in Kansas City. Place was immaculately clean, and in a nice quiet neighborhood, and the price was a really good value. Would stay again.

Very nice 3 bedroom house
House was as advertised. House was updated, very good condition, and clean. My 2 grandkids enjoyed the big front and back yards. We had no problems, but the host was quick to respond to a request we did have. We would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Peaceful place close to everything
We loved staying at your home! We came in town with our daughter and her family for a wedding! This was a perfect location for us. Our grandsons loved the big yard to run around in! Each morning we would look out the big picture window and watch the horses graze. The back patio was a nice spot to unwind! The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean! The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend this location to friends....! Thank you so much! God bless you!
