Chose for the location

Our experience at this hotel was terrible! First Expedia mis represented what a work out room is. I booked at a higher rate thinking it would have some perk to make it worth the extra $ such as a better view, maybe close to the spa/gym etc...
Checked in- found out what a work out room was-which is a room with workout equipment including a gigantic treadmill! Who wants to wake up to that eye sore?
Returned to our room at 3:30 room had not been serviced-it never got made up.
They allow pets- which there were several around us- happy barking dogs ANNOYING!!
The room was dirty- we have stayed here before and it has never been pristine but this time was the worst. I will let the photos speak for themselves- Expedias misrepresentation of the room and the filth. We have used Expedia for a long time and it seems as though the room assignment when we arrive at the hotel is never a prime room but likely to be by the elevator, ice machine, terrible view or as in the case this last time on the floor with the barking dogs. I am not sure saving a few dollars is worth a more pleasant experience that I may get by avoiding a 3rd party to book my room.
