"Quirky, fun, secluded lush garden surrounding, friendly personable owner. The solar electricity supply for lighting failed and needed a back up. Beware - if you are expecting location near facilities and a conventional stay, this one is not for you. We enjoyed it nevertheless."

"This was probably the best well stocked vacation rental I’ve experienced. There were plenty of towels, pillows, bedding, and fans. Plus so many things to help you have an amazing trip to the beach, if you want. A little bit of a drive to get to but worth it to be near the coast and get to sit out and enjoy hearing the waves each day."

"Hosts are amazing. View is out of this world!! Pool is clean. Within an hour of Volcanoes Park, 1.5 of Mauna Kea observatories or Kona coast. Originally came years ago, and it still doesn’t disappoint. (No AC, so utilize all fans and ocean breeze.)"

"Beautiful property with warm and kind hosts. It's clear they have put a lot of care and love into the space. It is so peaceful and full of bird songs at night. We didn't spend too much time at the guest house because we were out adventuring, but it was a relaxing and comfortable space to return to as a home base and is a convenient location to both Hilo and Volcano."
