Location: Some reviews suggest the Motel is difficult to find. Not true. Turn off the highway, turn onto the side street, you're there in seconds.
Good price, good people, good food, good facility. The excellent O'Briens restaurant just around the corner and fast food nearby.

Off the beaten path but a nice enough placePosted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: Furnishings, staff pleasantness
Cons: Start the breakfast early enough for guests who want to catch the bus that leaves from the hotel at 6:10 every morning.
Location: Location is about 1 minute by car off the main highway making it quieter but harder to find. Bus to other northern towns stops right at the hotel.
I don't usually stay at the Travelodge when I'm in Hearst but I would consider doing so in future. Staff was pleasant on check in. I was afraid that the kids hockey team that was staying at the hotel was going to be a problem as they were yelling and running around. However, the staff seemed to be aware of the issue and I suspect they woke up the kid's chaperones and asked them to do their job.as the place suddenly became much quieter. The room's furnishings seemed very new and upscale for a Travelodge. The bathroom sink and cabinet was one of the nicest I've seen anywhere although I pity whoever has to clean it. The soap in the bathroom was very, very nice and I never comment on bathroom soap. They have a complimentary breakfast with includes some hot items (I saw a waffle maker mmmmmm) but I was catching a bus that left the hotel at 6:10 am which is unfortunately before the breakfast is available. Internet worked, bed was comfortable and price was competitive. As I previously indicated I would likely stay here again.

It was alright, except at night room was too cold. On checkout, manager was rude before we left the premises, keep attitude in check.

Attractive RoomPosted Nov 18, 2016
Pros: The room was newly refurbished and spacious.
Cons: The second floor entry needs improvement.
Location: The hotel is located off the main highway which made it tricky to find, but that also meant it was away from traffic noise.
My stay at the Travelodge in Kapuskasing was a highlight of my trip through northern Ontario. The room was spacious and well furnished. The bed was was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was ample with plenty of variety.

Spacious room.Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff, large and comfy room, walking distance to restaurants.
Cons: Sound proofing was suboptimal. I could hear the (noisy) conversation held in the parking lot.

clean and quietPosted Oct 13, 2016
A little hard to find, tucked away on a side street. But that made it more quieter. Very nice rooms and very helpful staff.
