One of the best in Phuket

Posted Aug 26, 2016
Great Hotel with courteous staff - good value for money. Transportation is a bit expensive as its 10 mins away from Patong and Karon Beach. Overall an excellent place!!

Resort bliss

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: Private beach, enormous pools, access to water sports (fees apply), away from Patong noise, ocean view rooms, staff go above and beyond to accommodate
Cons: The gym could do with a/c and free wifi in the rooms would be brilliant.
Location: Located near Karon beach, out of the main action of Patong. By taxi, 300 baht to Patong, about 10-15 minutes ride.
This is the third time we have stayed here and have found the hotel consistently great. We wouldn't consider staying elsewhere in fact.

AN Oasis w/Private Beach, Bay; Best Pool Ever!

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: Private bay/beach. Pool is amazing and HUGE.
Cons: Enforcing pool lounge chair policy. Maintenance also needs to stay on top of rust on the outside patios/balconies.
Location: This resort is in an amazing location albeit you cannot walk anywhere. The resort is about an hour from the airport and you must pay to go anywhere.
This hotel overall is a great luxury resort. It is clean, comfortable and the hotel staff is attentive. The facilities do need to be maintained a bit better as it is showing its age. The hotel was originally built in 1987 and remodeled in 2005, but the salt in the air is not kind to buildings by any beach. The resort is fully equipped with activities, restaurants, and its own private beach/bay which means you do not need to leave the resort, but if you do like to explore like we do be ready to pay to go anywhere as it is a bit secluded even thought it is between Patong and Karon beaches. Maps mislead that one could potentially walk to both beaches, but Phuket is very hilly and hotel shuttle, taxis, or tuk tuks will be the way to go. Don't waste your time as they all charge the same: around 300 Baht. This Resort has the best pool of any hotel/resort I have ever stayed at; be ready for lounge chair hogs as they do not enforce their two-hour policy clearly stated on their pool signs. Their restaurants are great although a bit expensive but by the time you add a round trip fare to Patong or Karon (400 to 1000 Baht for two) you will end up paying the same as staying in and dining at one of their many food venues.

Nice resort, beautiful beach

Posted Jul 7, 2016
Pros: We loved the pools and beach
Cons: The rooms are noisy, taxi services are annoying and free wifi should be supplied
Our family of four stayed for 9 nights. On arrival they had not planned for a family even though I had emailed before to request adjoining rooms. So our teenage children had to share a king bed for the first night. The resort is beautiful and the pools and beach are a highlight. Breakfast is very good and we ate at the restaurant for two nights of our stay. The taxi system is a rort and I recommend that you walk up to the shops at the main road and organise travel there for half the price. Wifi was not included in our package and so you have to be careful.

Friendly staff, nice pool and awesome beach

First visit to Le Meridien Phuket, book an ocean view room and it was fantastic. The view was great and the beach was clean and private. Due to monsoon season, there was not much beach activities though. Anyway, enjoy the big swimming pool and it's facilities.
