Suitable for a multi-generational family trip

I spent a night at a 2-bedroom cabin with my parents and a 12-year old son. The location is very convenient. We took a bus from Tokyo. Within a couple of hours, we were dropped off right outside of the shopping mall, which is part of the resort.
You can easily get lost in the resort due to the size of the property. There is definitely something for everyone, so I would recommend it for a large group or a multi-generational family. My parents enjoyed the hot spring, which is located inside of a beautiful building that looks and feels like an art museum.
We also went to the snow park as my son was interested in snow tubing, but I would say it's more appropriate for younger children. Regardless, my son was excited to see the snow.
