I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The beach and pool(s) were important to me and they both exceeded my expectations. Kata Noi was my favorite beach on the island of Phuket. The property is very well kept, including the rooms, and there is beautiful green nature everywhere you turn. The shower in my "basic" room made me feel like I was in a spa and was huge. The hotel does an excellent job keeping the beach clean & this beach is also unique because there are limited vendors so you can enjoy relaxing. There are always taxi's outside the hotel which is convenient when you want to go somewhere outside of walking distance (don't miss the weekend market near Phuket city or the seashell museum in Rawai). The hotel offers a very low cost shuttle to Old Phuket Town & where I loved seeing the Sino-Portuguese shop houses & going to Kopitium Cafe (delicious authentic local food & drinks) on Thalang Road. This is a very family friendly hotel but is also a great place for individuals (like myself), couples, or groups. The concierge makes every effort to meet your interests & answer all of your questions & I'm really glad this resort is where I stayed. All staff are professional, consistently show genuine kindness, and display an interest in making it a pleasant stay for everyone. Enjoy your trip!

The hotel is far from the beach with steep hills, difficult street crossings and high speed traffic. The beaches have limited amenities. At best you can rent a foam mattress to lay on. No beach chairs anywhere. The beach is wide with plenty of room but no bathrooms, showers or places to wipe the sand off.
The hotel is laid out poorly. The pools are large and refreshing. There are limited lounge chairs to be had. The gym is small with only two treadmills and one elipitical with some weights and a few yoga mats. The pool bar plays reggae too loud for the rooms that hover above it. I asked for a room change and was granted one which was nice of the staff.
The restaurant food is okay. The western offerrings are below par. The Thai food is pretty good. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. The staff is polite but not engaged with the guests enough. I filled my own coffee often.
The rooms could use an update. Some of the cushions on the couches were worn out. Some grout in the tiles could be replaced. The rooms are big and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice with tub and shower.
All in all it was a nice hotel.

Huge resort right on the beach, my room has a swim out that was shared with 8-10 other rooms lt. Was the perfect way to start the day and finish the evening. If the main pool hot a little crowded was a great option to venture to. The area around the pool was always busy and sometimes hard to get a sun bed (people often left towels on them the evening before) but the pool it's self was not overrun. Lots of options for breakfast.

Stayed 5 nights with my fiance and we were looking for any excuse to stay longer. Such an amazing place with exceptional staff and postcard scenery.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway where you just get lost in the beauty of your surroundings!

Staff are helpful. Room has a lovely view of the pool area and very clean. Only 10 mins walk to Kata Beach. A quiet family beach that one can enjoy peace and quiet. Too Many beaches in Phuker are full of noisy and not well behaved tourist.

This hotel was a great family hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor beside the Emerald pool. We loved the room, the pool and the hotel generally. It was located close to many shops, restaurants, massage, scooter hire, etc, so you don't need to travel far to get dinner or some pampering. This was our 3rd time in Phuket, once with my wife and I at the Le Meridian near Patong, once with our 3 kids in Sunwing Kamala and this time with extended family and our kids. This was our favourite location as it was practical but not our favourite hotel (Le Meridian was the winner here). But we must compare apples to apples and Le Meridian was more costly and 5 star. For the money Centara is a brilliant hotel and i highly recommend it for families wanting to relax but not be too secluded. Only thing is the breakfast options are not varied enough so within a week you find you are bored with Breakfast and a buffet is usually one the great things about a holiday. Don't get me wrong, it was good but just lacked the 5 star touch i am accustomed to when it comes to choice... Other than brekky i cannot fault the hotel.

Known as a family-friendly area on Phuket Island, Kata is famous for its white sand beach, clear blue waters, and relaxing beach swimming. A coral reef extends from the beach to Crab Island, a popular destination for crab fishing. The north side of the bay offers snorkeling and diving locations.
