Pleasant hotel in Paralia

The staff was very welcoming and they were of service. Everything we asked we got very quickly. The buffet was very good and the neighborhood was vibrant. The private parking was very helpful. However, the beds were not very comfortable and there was no curtains in our room (not helpful if you are looking for extra sleep). Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Location: It's in the heart of the town, close to the beach

Nice hotel and fantastic staff, the breakfast buffet was kind of lacking...but we went out of season and there must have been no more than 10 guests in the hotel, can't really blame them for not having and extravagant offering.

Strass Hotel review

Location: Lovely location, with chance to visit Mt Olympia and Meteora, both fantastic trips.
My wife and I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, and the staff could not have been more helpful. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast was more than adequate and catered for most tastes. Although near the sea front area (just a few minutes walk away), it was quiet.. My only complaint would be, that the hotel's address is the same as one a few miles away. We had met my daughter and son-in-law at Thessaloniki Airport and driven to Katerini, and following the directions downloaded from the Internet, found ourselves in a rather seedy area. Luckily, my son-in-law, who is Greek, rang the hotel and found the correct location. Other than this, we had a very enjoyable stay, although for British holidaymakers, it is not the easiest resort to get to, as one has to fly into Thessalonika Airport, and then either travel by taxi (approx 95 euros), hire a car or get a bus from the airport to the bus terminal in Thessalonika, from there a bus into Katerini and then either walk across the town to get another bus to Paralia, or get a taxi to the hotel. However, when we returned from the resort, we found an airport transfer available (cost 20 euros per person), which was by far the easiest way to reach the resort.

Meget hjelpsom betjening, god frokost, fleksible vaske personale som også ryddet rom og balkong. Balkong var trang, uten tørke muligheter av tøy.vi Vi betalte 1200 kr. Ekstra i taxi fra flyplass til hotell og tilbake igjen. Kronglete med små barn å velge annen transport. Burde vært opplyst fra expedia....ellers meget fornøyd med sentral beliggenhet, laaang by strand, grumsete vann med endel maneter(ble brent ett par ganger). Fendel mygg på rommet(vi var i første etg). Nyere og bedre rom etter oppussing, i etasjer over..

Vi var där i 1 vecka och det kunde varit mer varierad mat till frukosten. Blev tråkigt att äta samma varje dag. Annan nackdel var att vi fick vänta 1 h på att få rummet trots att incheckningen var kl 13.00. vi fick rummet strax innan 14.00. Då vi rest en längre bit så var vi trötta och fick vänta i lobbyn. Våra vänner som vi reste med fick rummet direkt. Annars var allt annat bra!

Βγαλμένο από άλλη εποχή! Πολύ όμορφη διακόσμηση τόσο του χώρου υποδοχής, όσο και του δωματίου. Εξαιρετική και επαγγελματική συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού.
