The only real problem with this hotel is lack of parking and in some rooms the bathrooms are tiny. In terms of location, the hotel is in a fantastic location. The wifi was excellent. Rachel and Elizabeth were absolutely fantastic and dealt with all our queries professionally.

Loved this place. It has the appearance of a cool boutique hotel (in most areas) but is actually a pretty big place. The best aspect though was how it managed to pull off being both a treat for adults and kids alike. The Almyra Spa was a lovely sea-facing, child-free haven for grown-ups (two small pools, gym and treatment rooms), but the rest of the hotel was totally geared up for kids/families in a cool-looking, non-plasticky way. We used the kids club for a couple of mornings for our son (mainly so he could get to meet other kids to play with round the pool) and was pleasantly surprised how good it was - amazing staff, and a really good range of activities (some off site). Also amazing was the free childcare for over-5s from 7-9pm each evening which was equally well organised and run by the same amazing staff. Our boy was desperate to go to these - which meant a cheeky cocktail for me and the husband by the pool - everyone happy! A lovely friendly place - a real treat to stay there.

Nice and quiet, yet within easy reach of the Beach, Harbour. The apartments were run by a family, who were very friendly. The pool was a good size, which also had a jacuzzi. The bar offered a good range of food and drinks. The rooms were dated but were spacious, very clean. The beds were made everyday, bedding changed on the third day.

"Great location, friendly staff and very good value"
Hotel location is excellent being approximately 5 minutes walk from the seafront. Note that if arriving at Pafos international airport I would recommend taking the bus (service 612) which will get you to the main bus station (located in the harbour area and 10 minutes walk from the hotel) in around 30 minutes; cost €1.50 versus taxi at €30.00!. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and in particular Nicky on main reception who was brilliant. The breakfast buffet was very good with a good selection of hot and cold items. Note that there are a number of convenience stores (and a large supermarket) close buy so you will not be stuck if you want to buy additional food and snacks during the day.
In summary, the hotel was good value for what I paid and I would definitely stay there again.

"Good location, clean, friendly staff, good value. "
We had 10 nights at this very good hotel.
Dionysos is in a good location in Kato Paphos - two minutes from the sea and seconds away from shops, bars, cafés and restaurants.
This of course means there's a bit of noise from the nightlife.
The reception welcome and hospitality was excellent and the staff were friendly, multilingual and anxious to help.
The Greeks have a word for 'hospitality' - φιλοξενία (philoxenia) - which means friendship to strangers and guests and which is very close to their hearts. We were made to feel very at home.
Rooms are a good size and kept spotlessly clean with balconies looking onto the town and the sea. Towels are changed daily if you want. You get a free use of the in-room safe and fridge. Aircon good too.
The hotel facilities are good for a small hotel with a nice pool area and a peaceful and beautiful little garden with a bar. Perfect for the occasional drink at the end of the night.
Breakfast is a little bonus - good mix of cold meats, cheeses and salad, a hot breakfast buffet, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cereals and pastries. We didn't eat breakfast anywhere else during our whole stay as the selection was good.
The whole experience with Dionysos was wonderful - it was the perfect base for a magical holiday without the impersonal coldness of the larger corporate hotels but with touches that made the stay just as good - and without the painful bill.
Next time I book in Paphos - I will check availability at this little gem first.

Hotel needs renevoation, but for the price you pay it's OK. Appartments are quite big and spacious. The pool area is very nice. The stuff was disappointing - they were not from Paphos and couldn't help with getting around the city.
In general nice and close to tourist area
