Sleeping on Hwy I10 via Hilton :(

I will never stay there again, It should be against policy to ever rent a room to anyone in the last 4 rooms closest to I 10 on any floor. I should have just grabbed a piece of cardboard and slept on the dang freeway. The noise was horrible! It's also amplified through the heater system and is down right Horrible! Everyone else on the elevator said the exact same thing. I am sure the hotel was NOT fully booked and Not a Customer one should have a room at the end like we did. I paid $140 for NO SLEEP, I wont make that mistake again.

Hiltons in my opinion would be the be all end all hotels if it wasn't for one thing. So I am going to give all the pro's. beautiful, large rooms, awesome breakfast, awesome bar, and the food at this particular Hilton was fantastic. I had the best shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten in 50 years. The big problem is the mattress they use. you sink down into them. When your sleeping if your a restless sleeper and you try to turn over, because your sunk so far down into the mattress, it takes extra effort to turn over so it wakes you. hard to get a solid night of sleep which is the most important reason you are staying at a hotel. so maybe other people this doesn't bother. this has happened at a few Hiltons I've stayed at. when I was searching for a room I needed a Hilton property because the factory rep traveling with me gets special deals at hilton properties. Next time I will pick a Hampton Inn even though they are not as nice usually.

Nice Hotel close to Bass Pro Shop

The mattresses were horrible so we switched rooms. As it turns out, it's the kind of mattresses you have in all of your rooms. They have a hidden dial on them to make it firmer or softer...no one knew this on the night shift. So our sleep was HORRIBLE.

Love these beds

The beds in these hotels are wonderful. The AC worked well, I like to be cold when I sleep. The bathroom was nice, but, the shower water pressure was way too low. Did not enjoy taking a shower here. I wish they would have free breakfast like their competitors.
