Pros: Close to beach and the rest of the island.
Cons: Getting the rooms made up before mid afternoon.
It is an OK hotel, nothing more, nothing less. Resort fee was high for what was available on site.

Relaxing older hotel with a view

Posted Jul 15, 2015
The facilities are older and a little worn, but the views are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Coconut Mall was being remodeled, so there's not many places to eat within walking distance. If you want a no frills place to relax, this is it!

nice place

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: near the ocean at a reasonably cost
Cons: include 18$ in the cost of the room
Location: shopping center and restaurants Lemon grass and wahoooo seafood
nice place quiet clean near the ocean coffee on the morning WiFi ok most of the time. Had to pay 18$ a day for things that I do not necessarily need (movies, newspapers etc.) but it seems to be a usual charge in this area. Pool ambiance good with BBQ. I would recommend that place.

Great location on the island of Kauai

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Loved the bar at the pool, loved the live music. The staff was very attentive.
Cons: Parking was the only downside. There just isn't enough,
Location: The Kayak Shop and the Fish Market right next to the hotel were great. We had fantastic sushi at Kintaros. The Coconot Grove is in front of the hotel
Great place to stay for a couple. The room is bigger than I thought it would be. Nice to have air conditioning. The grounds were well kept. The walking/bike path was beautiful along the ocean.

Great accommodations at a reasonable price.

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Maybe a continental breakfast as well as coffee in the morning.
The proximity of the beach, the pool, poolside bar, availabiliity of beach towels, availability of beach chairs by the pool and beach, private patio outside our room--everything was delightful. To top it off, our granddaughters on their last late afternoon swim at the hotel's beach saw two sea turtles!

Centrally located with friendly hotel staff. The staff was so helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate if you plan to spend your time exploring the island.
