雨だけが残念Posted Nov 23, 2015

Beautiful hotel and great servicePosted Nov 16, 2015
Everything about the hotel is lovely. The room was very nice and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are clean and nice. The outdoor bar area is fun. All of the restaurants were great, especially tide pool and the breakfast buffet. The concierge, bell staff and front desk were wonderful. Love this place!

Perfect Honeymoon DestinationPosted Nov 5, 2015
The Hyatt on Kauai did everything possible to make our honeymoon delightful. After booking through Expedia, I called the hotel directly to tell them the purpose of our trip. Be sure to do this! There was a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us and we were able to get a deluxe ocean view room in the hotel wing we preferred. Do some research so you know the map of the property before you arrive. It's a very big place! About the food: The menu, ingredients, presentation and service at the Tidepools restaurant were more to our liking than the other restaurant, Dondero's. We had dinner twice at Tidepools because it was so enjoyable. After one meal at Dondero's, where I sent back two dishes which were drowning in extra-salty cheese sauce, we decided to not go back. Room service for breakfast was very nicely done. The lagoon pools are delightful! There is much to do on Kauai if you love being outdoors, but be sure to schedule at least a day or two to just relax at the Hyatt and enjoy the pools and landscaping.

Beautiful resort with an amazing staff!!!Posted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: This hotel is beautiful and convenient. They have plenty of pools and restaurants with delicious food and a great luau without leaving the hotel!
Cons: Nothing, they really thought of everything including free sunscreen and water by the pools everyday
Location: I highly recommend the helicopter tour of the island, it's the only way to truly see the whole island
I knew that the island would be beautiful. I had seen plenty of pictures to know that Kauai was a great place to go, but I had never been and was just not sure where to stay, but the reviews on the Grand Hyatt were great so I decided to book it. This was the perfect choice!!! Since coming back home I have told everyone I know about this hotel. Not only is it a beautiful and clean hotel, but also the staff treated me like I was special and that is rare these days. Most places think you are lucky to be in their hotel, but this place is different. They thanked me many times for staying with them and offered me bottles of water and sunscreen and towels more times than I could count. My room had a beautiful ocean view that was better than what you see on most postcards. The concierge was also amazing. They had set up several activities and dinner reservations for me and it was all ready for me the day I arrived. I did not know where to eat since I had never been before but the concierge gave me several different recommendations in different price ranges and every meal I had was delicious. I can't say enough good things about this hotel because I know my trip would not have been nearly as amazing had I stayed anywhere else.

Awesome property. Super friendly staff. Gorgeous!Posted Oct 19, 2015
Awesome beach in walking distance. We watched the sunrise every morning on top of the big rock at the end of the east side beach. Spend the extra money and get an oceanfront view. Pool is big and many areas to hang. Tidepools restaurant is perfect for dinner, great island ambiance and top notch plates. The best of all my Hawaii trips. Kauai is the island to go to if you like to chill and explore. So much natural beauty.

Gorgeous pools and property. The place itself is a vacation. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It's expensive, but you are getting what you pay for.
