Resort property extremely well maintained. Excellent landscape staff. Our lanai had some patch work present that wasn't all that pretty. The unit was clean. Appreciated the washer dryer though it was extremely small. Gwen and concierge were very nice but other front desk clerks were uninterested. When I checked out I didn't get a good bye or a thank you.

We go to Hawaii for a nice sandy beach front, and there is NO sandy beach front close to this hotel without driving (we were on Kauai). Also, beware, that if your reservations say "Resort View", your view is going to be the parking lot!!!!!! We loved the room itself, it was new and included a washer and dryer, microwave, mini fridge and kitchen amenities. The pool was great, but not how we wanted to spend our time. The only Hotels that are truly right on the beach in Kauai are the big ones, i.e. Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, and a few others. We moved to the Marriott with an ocean front room and that's when our vacation really began! This hotel will be a Marriott beginning January 2017, so heads up, NO OCEAN FRONT, NO SANDY BEACH ACCESS FROM THIS HOTEL. The beach access is all rock. So if you don't care about being right on the water, you'll love this resort, the grounds are magnificent, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Hidden away not far from the cruise ship dock in Nawilili Harbor. First hotel on Kauai. John Wayne used to stay there. Relaxing and modest amenities. All we could ask for. Very convenient home base for tourism in both directions around the island. Seven minutes from the airport. Not on the beach.

Nice small-scale resort, NOT for children since there's not much too do there. Rooms were clean and somewhat updated - it seems like they're still working on all the furniture. Bathroom was nicely done and a good size, but the bed was rather broken down and WAY too soft.

We were camping most of the time in Hawaii, and on my last night I decided a hotel might be best to just gather our bearings and, let's be honest, get clean... beach camping only offers outdoor showers... Ha.
This was more than a hotel; it was more like an apartment/condo community. From our paperwork and signage, it appears some units may be privately owned, while others rented out to travelers. No matter the logistics (I was just curious), it was a great place to spend our final night. The beds were cozy - so many pillows! The place was roomy - enough room for these two campers to finally get some personal space! A kitchen, big bedroom, living/dining area, large lanai.. and the bathroom had a separate vanity room which was so convenient for two people to use.
It was later in the evening by the time we settled so we didn't use the pool ( a bit chilly), but we did use the hot tub. It was nice. The property was well-kept.
Since we arrived in the early evening and were leaving early the next day, we didn't get to use this room's (or apartment, rather) full potential! The kitchen was SO well-stocked, but we didn't get to use anything except the coffee pot. This would be GREAT for extended stay.
There is beach access as advertised, but it's quite a walk--and across an access road, so just keep that in mind. The advertisement is accurate, but it's not as close as you'd think. (We didn't need the beach access, but just sharing because others will.)

Well priced hotel for Kauai. Good location, easy access to every part of the island. Room was ok, the bed was very comfortable. Disappointed in the beach, not really good for going in as it was very rocky. The pool area was small but nice. It would have been nice if the pool was heated, it was too cold to go in.
