Good stay at the Palms

Posted Jan 28, 2016
We had a good stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the towels were very soft. The room was quite small boat work for us because we did not come to Hawaii to stay in the hotel room the whole time. I would recommend this hotel to save money for other things while on vacation. It was just two of us and the room was fine but one room would not be enough for a family with children.

nettes Hotel für Inselerkundung

Posted Jan 23, 2016
Pros: netter Service, nette Beratung zu Ausflugstipps
Location: rel. zentrumsnah in Lihue

One Night Stand

Posted Dec 31, 2015
Pros: Economically priced.
Cons: Install an air conditioner.
Location: The hotel is located down the street from a main road with plenty of options such as choices of food, purchasing items etc. within walking distance.
Arrived around 8 pm. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable 3:5. The tile bathroom floor and shower was an extra. The room was small but efficient for staying one night. My room did not have an air conditioner so you may want to make sure you get a room with one. There was a ceiling fan. I was fortunate that the temperature was a nice during the night. I bought a fan at the Walmart about 5 miles away that helped. Kauai is known for the roam free chickens on the island. The roosters started crowing at 3:30 am. I was ok with it because I grew up on a farm and it was a great memory. My husband was not so pleased with the crowing.

Not too far from airport, beach, Walmart for snack

Posted Dec 8, 2015
Pros: small and clean.
Location: Ate twice at Rob's upon the suggestion of staff. Good food and a local hangout for watching all the football games Sunday mornings.
very friendly staff that allowed me to get into room to store bags early so we did not have to tour around with luggage all day.

Not near water

Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: staff was very nice
Cons: ice machine that works, up date rooms
Location: Fair location, not a neighborhood you would go walking at night
Got hotel through expedia and a combined car deal. I obviously didn't pay close attention to the website. This is not the hotel I thought I reserved for the night. Exterior kind of run down, rooms old but clean.
