"The hotel was clean and the staff is friendly. I like the hotel but the outside of the property was dirty, noisy and made me feel unsafe. There was a lot of people who were drunk and passed out on the sidewalk. This property is not for families with kids."

The price was moderate, the rooms and property were super clean, and the staff was outstanding--helpful, professional, courteous. The breakfast buffet was a nice blend of western and Japanese foods. "This is a great hotel in an excellent location - right next to Shinjuku station, but on a quiet side street that was never busy or noisy. It was very easy to get around Tokyo from this location. The hotel itself is well decorated, including a very stylish lobby. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and polite and they spoke good English. Our room was very comfortable - a little on the small side, but that's typical for Japanese hotel rooms, and it was still perfectly adequate for us. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well, and we weren't disturbed by any noise during our stay. The bathroom was clean and fine, if slightly more old fashioned than the rest of the hotel. It was nice to have the option of a bath as well as a shower though. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."
