The best boutique hotel!

All is great! I love my bedroom! Small pool but nice! They had many choices of breakfast and the taste was good! Friendly staff. Love design interior and everything except the parking area ;)

Good Location and Character

Pros: Character and location
Cons: Breakfast selection and size of TV in the room
Hotel is a little different to norm with an 'old feel' rooms are all a little different but well appointed although the bathrooms bu todays standards a little small and no separate showe. Close by are a number of good restaurants (Ate at Koi next door a couple of times. With a shoppong centre Block M also close by. Fitness center and pool also small with minimal equipment but all worked fine

NIce hospitality hotel

Pros: Of course, hotel staff. This is one of advantages for this hotel.
You'll be impressed with this lovely hotel with a nice decoration, awesome staff, foods are all around this area.

Small colonial-like hotel

Overall my stay at Gran Mahakam is a pleasant one; service staff, food. But the hotel rooms need refurbishment. Another to note, if you are a light sleeper, ask for room not facing the roads as it can be a little noisy. Accessible to Senayan area via cab.

Great hotel with a lovely rooftop pool

We love this hotel. The service is great, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The food menu lacks a bit, but overall, we love this hotel and would stay here time and time again. The gym is pristine with new and well maintained equipment and the rooftop pool is lovely!

Nice hotel in south Jakarta

Pros: The king size bed is quite comfortable; however, the two pillows provided were too tall & uncomfortable. The breakfast has good selection.
Cons: The bathroom sink won't drain properly (see attached photo).
Location: In an obscured street in south Jakarta. I saw Korean & Japanese restaurants across & adjacent to the hotel & a 7/11 convenient store nearby.
Although Expedia advertised Hotel Gran Mahakam as a +VIP Gold access Hotel, there is no upgrade of anything upon check-in. During the check-in process I mentioned my Expedia status & inquired about the upgrades & saw the hotel clerk looking up in the system & she politely asked me to wait. She later called the manager & relayed the message that there is no room available for the upgrade. I immediately looked up my mobile app to verify & on the contrary, there were Club Suite Room, Executive Suite, Junior Suite & Deluxe Suite - all available for the same day!! She simply smiled back & I understand she couldn't challenge her boss' instruction. Expedia, if you're reading this, I suggest you remove the +VIP status from this hotel.
