“We loved our stay here! The place was somehow even better than the pictures! It was a great location, just a short drive to Burlington, and was a well stocked house! It was a beautiful view and the lake access was so nice! The property manager was also very responsive. Would come here every year!”

“The stunning views and peaceful environment were exactly what we had hoped for. The cottage provided everything we needed and wanted. Our hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond. The area had many delicious places to eat when we weren’t enjoying our view and sipping coffee/tea outside. Easy travel to Burlington or to ferry over to NY. Would happily stay again! ”

“I spent three nights here because of the proximity to the bike path and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cute summer getaway neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, AC worked great, relaxing sun room when the weather cooled, bonus that there was a guitar.Burlington is half hour bike ride south down the path, and heading north takes you to the bike ferry to the island, which is how I spent one day.It’s an old summer cottage so once you adjust your expectations, it’s great. “Two suites that are perfect for two families staying together. The kitchen was nicely furnished. Had a beautiful view and a short walk to a Dam. The place is attached to a restaurant, but wasn't noticeable during our stay. The suites were very clean. The Host was also very understanding and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Perfect home for a couple of friends, maybe 3, to explore the Lake Placid area. Only 20-30 minutes from great hikes, Whiteface, John Brown Farm, Mt. Van Hoevenberg, Lake Saranac. A short walk to ice cream, pizza, and just a little farther to downtown LP. Host was very responsive and home is sufficiently equipped. My friend and I had a very nice stay.”

“This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. “The property is in a prime location on Lake Champlain. We brought our own kayaks and access to the lake was easy. The house was stocked with everything we would need and the hosts were very attentive. Helpful Info was provided on activities and shopping in the area. One suggestion for future guests is to bring reading lights, since lighting in common areas was rather dim. ”
