Perfect Location

Posted Mar 17, 2017
Pros: The friendly staff from Reception, Bar, Waitresses, Cooks, and The Owner are all lovely friendly people who happen to make our visit more enjoyable.
Cons: nothing
Location: In the heart of the town and a lovely refreshing walk to bars and shops should you need to!
Beautiful hotel - Perfect setting for our long weekend. Always look forward to staying here and can't wait to go again.

Great Stay

Posted Nov 15, 2016
We had a wonderful stay in the Head fort Arms. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The Breakfast portions are ample and won't leave u hungry for the rest of the day. We have already booked to stay there again. Real fires as well.

Bustling hotel with a warm Irish welcome.

Posted Oct 14, 2016
Pros: Comfortable room (away from the busy hotel facilities), lively atmosphere, pleasant dining in the Vanilla Pod Restaurant and friendly staff.
Cons: Couldn't sleep because the room was too warm. Leaving the window open was not at option because of the noise from the street (we were at the front).
Location: Kells is a small town in the Boyne Valley. The hotel is excellently placed for touring this beautiful area with its many attractions.
Obviously the place to stay in Kells. Everything seems to happen here from concerts, conferences, weddings and family gatherings through to formal dinners and cabaret nights. There's never a dull moment when you stay at the Headfort Arms. Most of this is pleasantly diverting unless you happen to be of a particularly nervous disposition. The hotel staff are relentlessly cheerful and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.
