Nice Motel; centralPosted Oct 5, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds. Quiet, but close to hospital, & shopping.
Cons: Newer TV’s. Nicer continental breakfast, better stocked kitchenette. Updated electrical, more plugins for cells, laptops, or iPad’s.
Location: The location was very central to all we needed to do. Close enough to the hospital. There’s a park within walking distance. Close to restaurants.
We stayed in the middle part and it was nice to have 2 doors for air flow. Our air conditioner was not really working properly. The beds were comfortable and our room was clean. The staff was friendly & if we needed something; no problem. Very nice area too, right next door to a beautiful park. Lots to do. I didn’t think the continental breakfast was so grand; pretty simple. Would we stay there again? Yes definitely, this was the second time.

Needs a total upgradePosted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: The staff were very polite. Check in and check out was quick.
Cons: This place needs a complete overhaul!
Location: Location was OK. Not near downtown but a short cab ride away if you were going for night life. Just off the main highway so easy to find.
For the price of this place I was hoping for a little better. There were holes in the wall , the carpet was filthy, the lower wall mounted air conditioner was very load and right beside the bed. I had requested a ground floor room when booking and got a second floor room. We are over 60 and asked many of the younger people on the ground floor when they booked their rooms and they all booked after us but they had the ground floor and we had to use the stairs. Even though we were on the top floor, at around 3 am it sounded like someone was running around on the roof. Not a pleasant stay.

Nice stop conveniently located in KelownaPosted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: Great location. VERY CLEAN bathroom.
Cons: Some of the exterior could be spruced up (the outdoor carpets and minor cosmetic spruce ups, etc.)
Location: Easy to get to downtown & beaches, and also if you're on a road trip it's on the highway so easy to get on the road when you leave.
This hotel has been around a while (I remember it as a kid), and it's age is apparent in some aspects. But I was pleasantly surprised at my room. The bathroom and kitchenette were super clean and the bed was very comfortable. If you're looking for good value while staying in Kelowna, Recreation Inn & Suites is worthy of your consideration.

price is readonablePosted Aug 23, 2017
everything about this motel was fine, except that some improvements need to be made ... and I believe they are in the process of upgrading. The carpets are stained, and the sliding patio door needs to be greased/oiled, it was very difficult to open. Also the patios off the rooms should be cleaned once in awhile. My daughter made the mistake of stepping out in bare feet & her feet were literally black afterwards, plus something sticky had been spilled out there before we arrived ... it was still in same condition when we left. The price was very reasonable & although small my daughter really enjoyed the pool on-site
