Pros: It was ok, rooms were a little small, nice that stores and restaurants were in driving distance.
Cons: Didn't stay long enough to really observe anything wrong
Location: Restaurants and stores in area, also movie theater in area.
It was ok, was there for a baseball tournament, was good enough for what I needed. Rooms were a bit small but I would stay again

Not accommodating to place correct bottom sheet on bed. Sheet kept coming off.

A big disappointment for our trip

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: The staff
Cons: Insulation, hot tub and pool
Location: Kelso, Washington
The walls are so thin, we heard dogs barking, people or kids yelling. The hot tub had chunks of the top rim missing, and the pool was not clear. It was cloudy.

Nice Super 8 in Kelso, let's try Longview.....Nooo

Posted Jul 13, 2017
It's unfortunate that our last day of our road trip had to be so memorable. We got to a nice Super 8 in Kelso, so we thought we try again at Longview, WA. Wow, total disappointment. The sign-in was fine, once we got to the room, it has such a heavy smell of over dosed Febreze that the family started coughing. We opened the window and turned the AC on. Told the front desk, they said," oh don't worry about it, just air it out." Our eyes were watering and breathing was getting more difficult. Ok, just one night stay, I can tough it out. Well perhaps we can just enjoy the nice indoor pool. Oops! Sorry, maintenance in progress, no water in the pool. Try the shower then, remember those days, don't take a shower when your neighbor are using the tap, water pressure will change your water temperature. I thought that only existed 15 years ago. Yup, here we go. In the middle of the shower, cold ........hot.........cold.......hot........I Give UP! How about the hair dryer, yeah plug it in, press and release........what......the whole wall mount with the screw all came out together. Could this get any worst? No way, the smell was way too strong, Yup, I got down to my knees and wipe the floor, counter and the sink. The smell was still there. Oh, let's call our friend which we checked in together. Oh, phone is not working........you get the picture.....Breakfast......not bad at all......just dirty chairs and sticky floor......garbage can is over filled.......but good food.

I'm not sure what hotel you stayed at, but it wasn't the Kelso Super 8. This review is on the wrong page.

overnight stay visiting Mt St Helens

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Pros: room comfort
Cons: staff friendliness and wifi connection
Location: off interstate 5, on the way to mt st Helens. near to eateries and starbucks.
great stay, comfortable. close to some shops and Dennys/McDonalds/Starbucks. Rooms are new, all inside room unlike Motel 6 across the street. Ample parking lot space. they serve breakfast early for those who likes to get free breakfast. wifi was provided although connection is a bit sketchy. staff could use a little smile on their face but i didnt have a hard time checking in so not going to ding any stars for that. overall a nice stay, especially considering the super 8 chain. Nice room décor, conveniently located next to interstate 5. not sure why it was rated so low. I think sometimes people have ridiculous expectations. this is a Super 8, not a Four Season hotel. absolutely recommend.

Clean but a little aged but comfortable.

Posted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: Easy to get to, friendly staff.
Cons: "Freshen" up rugs and updating some of the furniture.
Location: Very easy to get to other locations and the staff was very helpful with their suggestions of where to eat, and things to do.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We didn't get fresh towels but stopped at the desk and were given some. The condition of the room was good, as I said before, the rug looked a bit aged and a bit worn but clean. The breakfasts were ok. I would have liked more choices of fruit and maybe pancakes or sausages.

Cons: The Breakfast
Not a bad hotel, nothing fancy. The Staff were great, the breakfast was just ok. I would stay here again if it was just passing threw.

Not too bad

Its an ok hotel in terms of rate and availability. The room we had was a little dusty and carpet seems old. It has a okay breakfast menu.

Nice, relatively new hotel

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: Comfortable room, nice breakfast
Cons: Better sign for how to get to hotel
Location: Lots of shops nearby and less than a minute off the freeway
A little hard to find the driveway (the sign for it is hidden by some shrubs coming from the freeway), but beyond that, this is a great hotel for the price. The room and decor seemed pretty new.
