Dear Guest, Thanks for staying at Halcyon Heights Inn. Your feedback is appreciated. If there is anything we could do to help you and the future have a better experience, please let us know. We are always open to constructive advice. Unfortunately your short stay of single night does not allow you to take full advantage of our local knowledge nor to enjoy what Homer has to offer as other extended-stay guests. For that purpose, we have a two night minimum stay requirement except in some cases, such as wild fire caused last minute cancellations, one-night stay was made possible. We notice that people are generally happier when they get to do something special, such as hiking to the beautiful glacier lake, kayaking in the bay, fishing or bear viewing. Travel well, Halcyon Heights Inn HomerBB.com

Very Relaxing!

Posted Jul 8, 2016
Pros: Loved sitting on the patio out front in the afternoon with our wine, cookies and books! Enjoyed host's info to impart... learned from him!
Location: It was up on the hillside, but a 3 minute drive to the middle of everything.
We had the Portside room and enjoyed the privacy. Very nice bathroom and kitchen. Bed was comfy, too. Their breakfast was extraordinary and the host's knowledge of Alaska was impressive. Their info led to us doing some exploring that we had never done before..... and we have lived in Anchorage 38 years! They were immediately on cleaning our room the minute we were out of sight and everything was always nice and clean. Overall very nice stay.

Nice place for Homer AK and to see a wild Moose

Posted Jun 18, 2016
This is a B&B, not a motel, so breakfast is a major event and big part of your stay here. The service and food was exceptional. The room was very comfortable and clean. A male moose came to our back door, withing a few feet, to eat grass during the night which was very exciting to see. (daylight at 4:00 AM at this time of year) The only complaint is that the hot tub was not available and we were so looking forward to relaxing after being on the road all day to get there.
