Fantastic Location with breathtaking views!Posted Oct 17, 2015
I read all reviews before booking. Some good, some not so good. Wow! We totally loved it. The rooms we booked were for 4 or more, so very spacious indeed. Extremely clean and pleasant, but the view was truly breathtaking. Hoped to see Humpback Whale's, which appear quite often, alas, not to be for our visit. We were delighted watching a very cute Otter eating shellfish on his tiny tummy.

Very outdated. Needs a lot of work. Old and not much upkeep going on

We enjoyed the view of the inletPosted Sep 23, 2015
Cons: We should have been better informed of the hotels amenities. Like to spa and hot tub, we didn't come prepared because we didn't know it was there.
We really enjoyed having a good view of the water and listening to the waves. It was cold so it was nice to enjoy part of our time indoors.

Pros: we chose Lands End because it was close to the fishing charter we went on and it was nice having a nice warm dry place to go too
Cons: not really, we got what we payed for
Location: great location if you have activities on the Homer spit
Our room was small but we knew that before. It was a cute little room with just enough room for my husband and I. We had a beautiful view of the beach and watch boats come in. We even saw a whale.

Homer's GemPosted Aug 30, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel and service was wonderful. The front desk was so accommodating. Lynette at the concierge could not do enough for us. She helped plan out our days. Overall Land's End is the only place to stay in Homer !

Great ocean front hotelPosted Aug 25, 2015
We got an ocean front room with fantastic view and access to the beach. Only stayed for one night, did not get a chance to try the hotel restaurant though.

The location of the hotel was the main reason we picked it. the room is rather small especially if three people are staying. We found hairs all over the blanket on the single bed but the hotel staff was quick enough to help us get a new one.

Convenient to boating excursions.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Lovely trips to Halibut Cove and Seldovia. We were fortunate enough to see whales, otters, sea lions, puffins and other amazing birdlife.
