Lovely hosts and great views. The room was a little small, but fully equipped.
Loved staying here. It was really nice to be able to bring our dog along as this is a pet friendly rental. The first thing I noticed is how impeccably clean the whole place was. Comfortable bed and had streaming service in the living room. Would highly reccomend to anyone staying in Homer.
The room was clean, bed comfortable and it was nice having a sink in the room. The snacks and breakfast foods were nice and varied. The view from the front of the lodge was beautiful. The Hosts were pleasant. Unfortunately they were not clear about how to reach them, When I found the keys left in ...

Hope to go back soon
I stayed in the "old hotel" with shared bath facilities... so that was expected and worked well. A worthwhile effort has been made to retain the historical fell and look, but such will also make one appreciate modern conveniences. But I would gladly return.

We had the most quiet, relaxing weekend. Everything was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for.
The stay was excellent. It could use a bigger couch or a cot.
This cabin is a perfect place to stay, not too close to any big city, but not too far either from Seward. Clean and cozy, has everything you need for preparing your own meals. Did not have any difficulties finding it. Nice grass area surrounding the cabin. I would definitely stay here again.
The reviews were spot-on! You will love this location, the views and the owner! We enjoyed the convenience of Homer, only 2 miles away. We sat in the sunshine on our deck watching whales, boats and snow-capped mountains. A VERY relaxing site for your vacation. The property was very clean, and fun ...
Nice and comfortable! We made use of the kitchen and TV. The view is fantastic. Lindsay even contacted me early and attempted to give us an extra bed for our 4 adults. They were very friendly and everything was great!
Wonderful time hiking, fishing and kayaking in seward. Would recommend
Our experience at River House could not have been more perfect! When we first walked in it brought tears to our eyes, as we have wanted this trip for years. The house was just as pictured and so was the view from the river. The best thing, since it rained everyday, was that we could sit inside the ...
Tanya and Rick went the extra 100 miles with this wonderful place and their hospitality. We stayed in many places around the world, but the thoughtfullness of making us feel at home and all the amenities were unbeatable with any other place. Thank you for everything, the garden greens, the kids toys, ...
Some vacationers envision themselves lounging on the beach and listening to the paradise breeze. But you'd rather be shredding down challenging runs on white fluffy snow. Expedia is here to help you to get your cool vacation arrangements together. We have 212 hotels in Kenai Peninsula from $130 to $289. Whether you are looking to stay on the same property where you will be skiing, or you would rather be close to other attractions, we can help you find the perfect place to stay for your next big winter getaway. If you'd like to see what our previous visitors have to say, there are 773 reviews that you can scroll through.
Getting to Kenai Peninsula could be tricky if you're traveling with all your bulky gear. We would suggest that you stop by one of the sporting equipment shops nearby for ski boots and outerwear, it will be time to get ready to make your way to the top of the hills. Don't forget to take in the views of the backcountry and freshly fallen snow. There's nothing like the enlivening sensation of flying down the mountains on the green, blue, or black diamond slopes. If your group hasn't been skiing before, even just one lesson can go a long way in getting the most of your ski trip.
After you arrive at the getaway stay, ask the front desk about other possible excursions to try out in Kenai Peninsula. They may know of a few family-friendly ideas, like roasting s'mores over a bonfire, board games at the hotel, nearby movie theaters, or bowling alleys. They might be able to give you some "adult swim" things to do too, such as a ski-in bar, a spa on the hotel property, or a 21 and up club. When you decide to call it a day, you will have a freshly-made bed and a room full of amenities to help you have a relaxing night. Get your reservations locked in soon before those snowy conditions and great rates melt away!
