“The room was beautiful and clean. The staff at check-in and all through my visit was exceptional and so friendly. The only complaint I would have would be the outside trash cans were full for the four days I was there. They never were emptied once. And the hallway had a large fan that went all day and all night. I’m not sure if they were trying to dry up carpeting or what the purpose of it was for. And then lastly, they piled all the laundry in the hallways while they were cleaning. Nothing……

“I should have known better when I booked it—a $55-a-night roadside motel. There was mold in the bathroom, broken tile, sticky sheets, stained furniture, and dirty carpet—the list could go on. Breakfast was okay: waffles, bread, coffee, cereal, and peanut butter. Pretty freaking dingy motel, but again, it was about $55. Pros: I did feel safe as a woman.”
