“While we enjoyed the stay, the details do not reflect the actual experience e.g. the Photo shown of the room on this review is nothing like the actual room.Room was nice enough but not like as shown, fold down bed was very uncomfortable etc, and outside Kitchen was not my favourite thing, a 1-night stay was enough”

“We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay here from the amazing views, the lovely cows and the amazing variety of bird life. There is a bird feeder with a good supply of bird feed we stayed in winter and there was a plentiful supply of firewood for the combustion fireplace in the house and the fire pit just up the rise from the gate to the house. We woke up to fog in the valley on 1 morning which was……

“Extremely disappointing stay at Lucas Parklands. This was a very expensive booking , and unfortunately the property did not match the standard you would expect at that price point. The house had a strong musty smell, with mould present in the bathroom. Bedlinen and towels also carried the same damp odour. The dishwasher was rusty, and dishes needed to be washed before use. The spa bath jets had dirt and hair come out when used. Due to a personal emergency, only 2 of the 8 booked guests could……

“An excellent location, the cottage offered a wonderfully private and peaceful retreat for our brief stay. The bathroom was nicely appointed, clean and modern and the property as a whole was a comfortable size to relax with the option of a wood burning stove to provide warmth throughout on a chilly winter evening. Definitely recommend it fellow travellers.”
