Location. That's all you get.

Posted Nov 6, 2017
The location is perfect. Close to everything with a T station right in front. Staff is lovely. Well decorated. No bedbugs. Now the downsides...no extra anything. No amenities (other than Red Sox water and shampoo/conditioner/lotion). No coffee (unless you order it from room service at 12 bucks or bring your own Keurig). No microwave. No extra blanket or pillows (unless you ask). No ice machine (you have to ask). No extra glasses (just ask). I've stayed in much nicer hotels where you don't have to ask for anything. Other, nicer hotels have free valet parking. For the price of the room, this should be included. For an executive suite, it was difficult to entertain since the bedroom was in the front of the suite and the living room, although by the street view windows, was through the bedroom. And loud!! Busy place! Definitely won't stay again. Chain hotels offer more at this price. And rethinking the whole Expedia "experience".

Pros: Location was great and staff service was great. The Oyster and Hawthorne Bar does great drinks
Cons: Communication on credit card hold
Location: Fenway Park Prudential Center Newbury shops and restaurants
Cracking location near Fenway Park, Newbury shops and restaurants.

Visited JFK library - a must as well as Freedom Trail, Salem, Red Sox and Newbury Street. Great city for beer (IPAs) and food. Friendly Bostonians always ready to help.

Fantadtic stay- just 2 comments. Air con noisy snd tea n coffee facilities would be great foz the oyster bar n other restaurant very expensive. Staff brilliant. 1 more thing we were not told anout tge $100 daily incidental charge daily at all. Saw it on mobile banking - not good. Otherwise would stay again.

Terrible tv Chanel options (couldn't watch the Major League Baseball game for example!) Too warm in evening with air on lowest setting; loose and leaky shower head

Beautiful hotel, close to Fenway

Stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth for one night on business. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Nice large bathroom. The hotel is located a very short walk away from Fenway Park and there are numerous bars and restaurant in the area. I would stay there again when I return to Boston.
