Elevator broken, no water to buy, vending machine sold out of water, was told I would have to go across street. (9pm!) No exit sign to exit parking lot.

It was disheartening to read that we did not live up to our usual standards, and we're truly sorry your stay was less than satisfactory. We are taking appropriate steps to ensure future guests do not encounter the same issues. We hope you will accept our apologies and consider giving us another chance to show you the outstanding service that we typically provide. Sincerely, Hotel Management

When I entered the lobby at about 11:00 am I immediately noticed that the floor had not been vacuumed, the glass in the doors was filthy it looked as if it had not been cleaned in awhile. All the surfaces of the furniture including the front desk needed to be dusted and some surfaces looked like it was so old that it would never come clean anyway. The hotel needs a makeover.

Never ever would I stay at this hotel again

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything...especially the front desk personnel
Arrived @ midnight, opened the door to one of our rooms and the beds were not made, dirty dishes and garbage in the sink and all over the room. Front desk was more interested in the person who made the mistake then getting the room ready, so at 330 am, after a 13 hour drive, we had a second room. Keep in mind that this was an extended stay, no dishes, no cookware or silverware, no utensils or drink ware, cubbards were bare. Rugs were covered in stains and the floors were sticky, not a little, if you had flip flops you could walk right out of them. There wa not a spare roll of toilet paper and only about a third of one in the bath, people checking in with us were having issues and people were checking in and going right back down to the desk for refunds. BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!

Stephanie, please accept my sincerest apologies for the cleanliness and service issues you encountered while here. I have shared your concerns with my Housekeeping and front desk teams, and we have taken actions to ensure that we do not repeat these issues in the future. We are reviewing the situation as a training tool to improve our procedures and to ensure this does not happen again. To ensure cleanliness of kitchenware upon check-in, brand standards require us to make these items available at the front desk rather than leaving them in the suites. We understand the frustration and truly hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you. Sincerely, General Manager

Disgusting! Miserable staff. Awful!

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Expedia said check in as late as midnight. Our flight was delayed and we arrived to hotel around 11:40 pm. There was no front desk staff available. Sybil, the laundry worker, arrived at the desk and gave us key cards for the 3 rooms we booked. We hauled our luggage up in the rickety, old elevator up one floor to find out one of the cards didn't work to unlock the door. I rode the shaky elevator back down to the abandoned front desk. (The certificate in the elevator shows the last inspection expired years ago.) Sybil showed up again and was clearly annoyed that I was back. She switched the card and went about her business with no apology for the inconvenience. I got back up to 2nd floor to find our 2nd room smelled like smoke badly. There are nonsmoking signs plastered everywhere warning of a $250 fine for smoking in the room. I went back to let Sybil know that we are not going to be responsible for the smoke smell. Sybil said she just does laundry and can't address smoking smell. Our third room was gross. The beds weren't made up and it was nasty! Back down to see Sybil. If looks could kill... Anyway, she checked for another vacant room but only had one on the 3rd floor which was formerly a smoking floor. It reeked but beds were made. Another group tried to check in after us. Sybil couldn't find their reservation. Chaos! The woman at the front desk in the morning was 10 times worse that Sybil. She refused to speak about night before, walked away and ignored me.

Home away from Home!

The room was like a mini apartment. It was clean and provided every accommodation to live there for an extended period of time. And the hotel staff was very friendly in helping me with everything, e.g..directions, restaurants, and locating another Extended Stay in another city. Oh yeah- smoke free environment.! Great experience!

Friendly, well located, pleasant stay!

The hotel was clean, friendly, and easily accesses Veterans Blvd. (a main artery in the area.) It looks like the hotel is in the beginning stages of a renovation, but it was still very accommodating. The bed was great and the kitchenette was handy.

Unexpected gem and the staff are amazing!

We had plenty of space for us and the 3 friends staying with us. Even snagged a cot for our 1 friend to join us which was helpful. Loved having a kitchen to cook breakfast especially and a fridge to keep our water, fruit, veggies and other groceries cold as needed. Plus the freezer was great for our frozen fruit and ice cubes/ ice pack. Right next to a great little diner called American Pie Diner open 24 hours. Down the street from Walmart for a quick trip to grab groceries or other necessities. If we needed something we just asked and the staff was happy to help. They really made the trip great and we didn't have any extra booking fees or surprises like we did with our rental car. We truly appreciated the convenience of the place next to the freeway when we needed it to head into the city, only 15-20 min to convention centre or superdome for our convention and even super easy when we headed out for a swamp tour (must do!) and plantation visit. Right next to parking lot was a channel where our one friend could fish and he caught turtles and fish which made him happy. It didn't quite have enough space for us to do our workouts and I didn't ask, but pretty sure there was no gym and we missed having a pool for the first few quiet days. But overall it was a great value, gave us what we needed and we enjoyed meeting all the nice people who were staying there too. Thanks Kenner for making us feel welcome!!!
