Nice hotel close to airport

Needs a complete makeover!

The whole floor smelled bad. The room had sticky linoleum and a stained grungy carpet. A crunchy chair to sit it. I couldn’t imagine sleeping there and not getting bed bugs so I checked out and walked over to another nearby hotel Comfort Suites which was nice and clean!

TOILET LEAKED AND NONE OF THE LIGHTS WORKED

Hello: My stay at this hotel was not good. I woke up from a nap after checking on the step in a puddle when I went to the bathroom. The toilet was leaking and forming a puddle on the floor. Also none of the lights worked in my room.

Disappointed

Stayed because it was close to the airport. Elevator was broken. Maybe they couldn't get it fixed that day, but there was not one cup in the room. Both lights near the bed didn't work. Called down to the desk. Staff was friendly but never fixed the lights. No list of TV stations. Had to channel surf instead. Couldn't print boarding pass. Won't stay there again.

Awful place to stay, wasted money

Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: THATS THE ONLY GOOD THING. IT WAS LOCATED ON A STRIP WITH OTHER SHOPPING AND DINING AMENITIES.
I came to New Orleans for my daughter's doctoral commencement. I was very displeased with the quality of the room, the customer service from some of the staff, the lack of hot water, and the lack of cleaning and housekeeping that was available. On top of that, the elevator broke like every couple of hours. I WILL NEVER STAY NOR RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I felt like I was staying at a raggedy motel, paying $5 a day. If that was the case, then I wouldn't have any expectations, but for me to spend as much as I did like I was staying a quality location, it is very disappointing.

Night the worst I’ve stayed in, but close.

I typically try to give hotels the benefit of the doubt but this hotel is one I will never stay at again. I had to pick hair off of the sheets before getting into bed. The room smelled of wet/mildewed carpet. The cupboards and doors had obvious water damage and were curling up on all four sides. The closet looked like at one point it had shelves and a curtain, no longer did the curtain exist and part of the shelving that had fallen off was left on another one. I had tried to just ignore these items, sat down to watch tv and it also did not work. I had flown in incredibly late and just needed a few hours of sleep, had it not been so late I would have checked out and gotten another place. In the am my children were still sleeping so decided I would run the stairs, nasty food/beer containers left on two of the three staircases, gross. The only thing that redeemed this place was that the hotel staff was very nice in giving ideas of items to do in the area.
