Nice Staff need improvement

The staff is great! New carpet needs to be IMMEDIATELY reinstalled... I thought the hotel staff was Sherry was awesome! I hated the hotel , it was old , and smelled like pee... Bot happy

Out dated

Staff is wonderful, rooms are out dated and need to be upgraded. Bedding was thin furniture is old and shower curtain needed to be replaced. Toilet seat was loose and toilet was very low, like I say so out dated.

I would never stay here again

Pros: Not much
Cons: all of it....needs a remodel
Location: close proximity to stores and only about 10 miles from French Quarters but there are plenty of hotels in the area that would have been better
For traveling on the cheap it was just ok but I was ready for it to be over! The bathroom is insanely small and the toilet is very low. I hated this place! The elevator was funky and the room was too. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were terrible. The room smelled musky and mildewy. Just not a place I would ever stay again.

Not worth the price I paid

For the price I paid, it was not worth it. For 2 adults and 3 children, the room was too small, the beds were comfortable, but also too small. The breakfast was lame, the best thing there were the waffles. Due to all that was going on in the area, only hotel available. Glad we only needed to be there one night. Will not stay again.

As I had an early flight out of New Orleans I wanted to avoid the traffic and stay close to the airport. This place was ideal, 10 mins from airport and extremely courteous check-in and checkout the next morning. Rooms were OK bed was comfortable, air conditioner was stuck on full blast until I unplugged it, breakfast was included in price so was pleasantly surprised, albeit a modest breakfast with limited options. Close to several food options and fuel right next door. Freeway noise might be a problem for some as its very close in places near the pool.

Hotel was ok. Location was good but facilities seemed old. Hair dryer didn't work in the room.

Very Bad Smell

I never write reviews, but this place left an impression--and not a good one. We had three rooms and all three of them stunk. It was an extremely bad smell. We didn't have enough air freshener to cut through the bad smell. They need to gut everything and start over.

Always a pleasure

Pros: nice, nice location, clean and good price
Location: Don's Seafood just down Veterans Blvd. Go on a Thursday for the all you can eat shrimp and catfish! AWESOME.
We ALWAYS stay at this hotel when we visit NOLA. This hotel gets you close to the Quarter, with the streetcars and such. Close to the interstate to jump on and head anywhere.
