Nice! But disappointed/ from my friend and i

Room was nice and cozy! Shower had water holding in it after shower, while I was out for the day I took the comforter off the bed and set it aside since it had a rip in it, when I returned the room had been cleaned but bed linens were never replaced or made up! Then when I said something I was told the blankets were being washed and I could pick up a fresh one up at the desk when I returned but to my surprise one was not left for me when I returned to the hotel front desk for it! So I had to use the ripped one I used from the night before!!! I wasn't very happy about that! And the girl who works 2nd shift clearly does not have good customer service skills.. She has poor skills at talking with customers!

Horrible

Cons: the hotel needs to be remodeled.
We stayed one night and couldn't wait to leave the next morning. The staff was very nice....and that's where the good ends. The paint is peeling on the walls, the light switch was half broken with the wires exposed. The people in the next room were smoking Pot, and in the middle of the night the people in the room above us made such horrible fighting noises and stomping and pounding on walls and doors. I called the desk and the guy did address it, but it continued.

Trash in the floor. The toilet was dirty. And we had to soap.

good for a quick 1 night. Not great.

given a room that was supposed to be smoke free. asked to change and felt like I was asking for the moon by the clerk. Eventually did get another room.

Not bad for the price

The hotel was fine for the price, but it was in need of some TLC. The rooms were clean, but paint wzs peeling, furniture looked really worn.

Motel not Hotel

First this is NOT a hotel its a motel, with the room doors on the outside with little to no security. Upon my arrival I was quite surprised by that, since there is really no indication when booking. I arrived rather late, but not beyond 11pm, and was told that the room I specifically reserved (king) was no longer available and I would have to take what they had left. At that point I decided to cancel and find another HOTEL in the area. As a woman business professional who travels alone, this is not the type of place I would stay or recommend to anyone. I strongly suggest you find one of the other very nice hotels in the area.

Nasty hotel

Cons: Owner has to put some time
Sheet cover is nasty carpet not clean there is no tv they put computer screen & looby is nasty look like no body clean almost month & bathroom is nasty

Lower your expectations, then lower them again...

I had trouble finding the hotel and was given poor instructions from the front desk clerk (who was very sweet and pleasant). The room looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 90's which is actually fine considering the price. My problems were: (1) The carpet was *sticky* and caused my shoes to make noise everywhere I went. (2) I spotted so many bugs crawling on the wall, sink, tub, etc. - no roaches, just ants, flies, silverfish, and a spider. (3) The curved shower rod was coming out of the wall which cause the curtain to hang in the middle and water shot out all over the bathroom floor (4) The toilet paper holder was also coming out of the wall and waaay too close to the toilet itself. (5) There was a straight up hole in the bathroom wall where the fan is and gave me "Psycho" feels. (6) The AC fan was FREEZING and the heater smelled awful. The settings are 'all or nothing, there is no in between!' (7) I got ZERO sleep because my neighbor was clearly turning tricks all night long - I can respect a hard worker, but the world should be asleep at 3:15a on a Wednesday :( All in all, I feel like I walked into this situation with low expectations (because, ya know) and this place shot through them. I expected "Quality" for the price. That's the name right? Motel 8 makes no promises. Basically a clean room that I could sleep in and take a shower. Unfortunately, it couldn't deliver.
