Cost of one night on Expedia was 109. Cost off line was189. No cancellation option. Very expensive.

Overall the room was fine. Could’ve used some vacuuming. Looked like stairs weren’t washed and when you are on the second floor you notice! Staff was very friendly!

Early Check-In

Arrived an hour early & they accommodated by letting me have an early check-in as well as gave explicit directions on the easiest/fastest way to my Room:) Only thing I wish they had was a Pool:( Free Continental breakfast included with my stay.... Thank You!! CR

FALCON LAKE FISHOFF DERBY

Pros: The hotel has a good localtion, quiet and away for the main traffic in Kenora. At the same time, it is only 7 minutes from downtown Kenora by car.
Cons: I strongly suggest to keep the restaurant/breakfast room open 24 hours for the guests to use it.
Location: Walmart, Canadian Tire, and other shops are just crossing the street. Tim's and McDonals are closed to the hotel too.
Every year in March, we go with friends to the Falcon Lake Fishoff Derby, and we spend the weekend in Kenora, ON. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The ladies at the front counter are super friendly, and the lady in the restuarant as well. The breakfast is very good, it has everything you will expect from a "hotel breakfast". This year we were located in a room on the main floor, so we parked the car just in front of the room window-door. This can very handy for unloading/loading our stuff from the car. The down side is that you might want to have the courting closed all the time, otherwise anyone can see you from the outside. I'd prefer a room in the 2nd floor, and keep the natural light coming to the room. We like to play board games, and the restaurant/breakfast room is closed all the day except for breakfast time. There is no place to have a coffee and play games, or just chat with friends.

Good location. Like the breakfast offering. The bed could be firmer. Like the fridge in room.
